Our beautiful, warm home-from-home apartment is in a truly wonderful location in London. We are just 2 minutes walk from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park; a short bus ride, taxi, tube or walk to Oxford street, Bond street, Harrods and Harvey Nicks. We are walking distance to Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace and the Royal Albert Hall.

We have put so much love and care into our home in Lancaster Gate. Only the best will do! We have sumptuous beds with fine Hungarian down duvets and pillows, together with Egyptian cotton bedlinen throughout. White jumbo bath towels and waffle bath robes are provided. Decorated throughout with Colefax and Fowler curtains and wall paper.The apartment is bright and airy situated in a quiet Victorian Square with no through traffic.We have a helpful Porter who is there every weekday.

We have been collecting English Antiques for many years which now fill our home, some handed down from family for generations.

We have been collecting English Antiques for many years which now fill our home, some handed down from family for generations.My husband and I lived in America for 14 years raising our family there. We soon got used to the high standard of living and therefore carried it on in the homes we bought in the UK when we returned.

We are surrounded by delightful restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Many coffee shops selling delicious pastries and cakes Portobello road is very close. There are many things to see down there. Atrip to Humming bird bakery is worth going to and highly reccomended..We have several gyms close by for those wishing to exercise or swim with Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens being only a short stroll away. Bikes are available for hire

We are 5 star accommodation without having to pay for the 5 star price!

The apartment was exactly as advertised, and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The owner made the process very easy and had a full booklet on the operation of the flat, as well as a number of restaruant suggestions. We had dinner new years eve at one of her recommendations. The apartment was clean, everything worked, and it was plenty of space for our family of five. I would highly recommend it to anyone I know.

We had the perfect place to stay! The apartment was fantastic. The beds were better than our own at home. The living room was great with even a working gas fireplace. The location is close to everything - cabs, buses, subway and Paddington Station. The bus and cabs are 1 block away and the subway is only a couple of blocks. Hyde Park is beautiful! Mitre Pub is closer than the subway and the place we ended almost everyday. We had a wonderful time and this apartment could not have been better. Thank you Sue for sharing your apartment! We would love to come again.

Good morning, Sue & Emily,

We have settled in nicely, here at Lancaster Gate. Mike met us, just as
our cab was dropping us off. Sarah was upstairs, so we were able to leave
our bags in the master bedroom. It worked out perfectly. We needed fresh
air & a good walk after our long flight.

We returned after 1pm, as Sarah was finishing. By the way, thank you for
allowing us to check in early. What a wonderful flat you have! It is so
warm, cozy & very clean. Your original oil paintings & antique pieces are
just beautiful. I am sure there is a great story of how & when each piece
was acquired & where. Even my 19 year-old son, Matt, was admiring &
commenting on your gorgeous artwork. Needless to say, we are all thrilled
to be here in this lovely flat so close to everything.

I cannot believe how we lucked out with beautiful, blue skies. It is
chilly, but adds to the festive feeling in the air: ) We are off for a full
day of touring & then to the production of War Horse this evening.

your way home from work.

Everything about the property was absolutely as stated by the owner and all arrangements were carried out with ease. This beautifully furnished flat provided a delightful environment for our visit. The location was great for a family close to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park, the Victoria and Albert Museum, buses, the Tube, taxi stand and many restaurants near by. The beds were comfy, bathrooms well
organized and stocked, and the kitchen was convenient and easy to use. We had a wonderful visit
and hope to stay with you again.

We had a wonderful visit to your great city. Apart from locking ourselves out once we negotiated flat life without difficulty and went everywhere on the tube. Your place is in a terrific location and we enjoyed several of your recommended neighborhood restaurants. Emily was a great help "educating" us to UK phones And locating the converters for charging our phone and I-pad. We had a fabulous time.

Our stay was perfect. The location is terrific, near nice restaurants and convenient to transportation. The flat is simply beautiful and so charming. It couldn't be any nicer. The apartment was sparkling clean and luxuriously equipped in every way. The owners are wonderful and very attentive. If you appreciate fine art, fine china, fine linens and fine furniture you will love it here. Absolutely perfect! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. We loved it. A perfect 10! Don't look any further.

Thank you again, so very much, for the warmth of your home - with or without the fireplace. As it happens today its quite chilly so the fire is a most welcome addition to our time here. Each time we open the door to come back in we smile and voice our gratitude for this place. This is the first major travel Tim has undertaken since he had triple cardiac bypass in June. Having the space to unwind and relax makes all the difference in mixing his business travel with relaxation. It has certainly been our great pleasure to stay here.
We will be leaving tomorrow morning early - by 6:30am. We are grateful to you and Emily for all you've done to make our stay here so enjoyable.

Hi Sue- we are having a marvelous time in London. Your home is so lovely and welcoming. We do feel quite at home and the relaxation this place affords keeps us energized for each day's tasks.

Thank you for your note regarding the fireplace. I appreciate all the efforts being made to try and get it fixed quickly. But please do not stress on our behalf. A fire would be lovely but it could not make our stay here any better! We do feel quite cozy without it.
