Our family of 8 adults and 3 children had a wonderful weekend reunion to celebrate a wedding anniversary at this beachhouse on the sand. We were delighted to discover this quiet part of Malibu on a nearly private beach with sand in all directions for long walks. The house was wonderfully organized and equipped for family meals, and intergeneraltional activities in the living room and family room off the new gourmet kitchen. Top of the line appliances. Comfy furniture (not too stiff and over decorated). Terrific balconies with spectacular ocean views. Our under five year old grandchildren were safe on the glassed in balconies. The refrigerator was generously stocked with food for a first breakfast, a very nice touch. The owners provided clear easy instructions and have a manager in an adjacent house which made transitions smooth (and provided backup if there were problems, which we did not have). We will return someday, busy family schedules allowing.

We were splurging on a family vacation with our 2 young adult dhildren , and had friends from Riverside Ca spend some time with us, with their family too.
Upon leaving they thanked us for the best vacation thev've ever had , and they, like us ,have been married over 30 yrs !!!
All of us agreed the "cove" location on a private beach, was the absolute best way to go.The home's layout, and ameneties were actually more than we couldve ever thought of... from kayaks to sand toys , from wetsuits to boogie boards, all tucked away conveniently under the house , just waiting for us to pull them back out every morning.We saw seal and dolphin almost daily... and enjoyed watching the surfers on the bigger waves out in the distance. Fun restuarants , grocery and shopping stores nearby...

There was a feeling of friendliness from the owners and property manager as well, this house is a home, waiting to be enjoyed

My husband and I have seven kids, three are married and live in different states, so we gather once a year for a family vacation.
This home was lovely, comfortable and very accomodating. perfect for family meals and movie nights.It had just been cleaned and looked just like the pictures on the website. Towels and sheets were provided. They had housekeeping once during the week, and available more often upon request and for a resonable fee. The kitchen is stocked for meal preparation, but we also enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants. The owners provided a helpful list.
The beach is private, clean and beautiful, with good space for sunbathing or building sand castles. we enjoyed daily walks at low tide to the many tidepools, and were fasinated by all of the sea life ...starfish, anenemies, urchins, and more! The home has two kayaks, wetsuits, boogie boards, chairs, sand toys. Kayaking was alot of fun! And bring your paddleboard or rent one at the pier because this cove is perfect for it. It's a quiet, peaceful beach...for touristy activity we went to Santa Monica Pier, a nice 20 minute minute drive south.
We love to explore, and Leo Carillo State Park is a short drive north on the coast. Check out El Matador...stunning rock formations on the beach. And, of course, we spent an afternoon shopping at The Country Mart just a few miles down the road.

We recently rented this house with two other families and it was fantastic! This house is one of the few houses that still has a terrific beach during high and low tide. We had friends who rented another house down the way but ended up enjoying the beach outside our house during the day because it was so fantastic. We look forward to renting this house again.

We stayed for a week in this house with our three young children and definitely plan to return. Dennis and Leah were very nice hosts. They greeted us at the door and had put some basic staples in the fridge and fresh roses on the front table. The house is well laid and quiet so others can sleep late and are not disturbed by young children. The cove was very private and constant entertainment for the kids with many tide pools to explore. The house has wetsuits, boogie boards, and a kayak which made everything so easy. We only left the house to get food as the view is so spectacular it was hard to leave. Whales and dolphins swam by daily. We highly recommend this location.
