Do you need to escape from the routine of daily life or the stresses of work? Perhaps you enjoy vacationing with your family and friends? If so, stay with us at our vacation home, a newly constructed chalet-style Pocono Mountain resort house. Nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains on a Lake, it is less than two hours from Philadelphia and New York City, making it a quick and easy getaway.

This exquisite home is a 3000 square foot house with three levels that are able to accommodate up to twelve guests. The ground level is filled with entertainment options; there is a stunning two story great room with a cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling fireplace. There is also an outdoor fire pit for use when there is no burn ban.

This home is located 1/4 miles from the private beach. It’s a 10 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and an 8 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. There is paddle boat available on the lake during the summer season, along with 2 kayaks. The house is located 8.5 miles from the H20 indoor water park and the Galleria. Split Rock has many pay-for-use services. This lovely home has a new kitchen, Living area very comfortable with a million dollar view, a private east facing deck that is sunny until late afternoon, a view and access to a private fishing lake, a bar area and a large television/game room with a lovely large expandable dining room. The ground floor consists of two bedrooms, a large family room with big screen TV, high speed internet access, and a gas wood burning stove.

Located a mere few minutes from the Pocono Raceway, the mountain skiing resorts of Big Boulder, Jack Frost Split Rock and Camelback. We are have two new casinos, Mount Airey Lodge and Mohegan Sun. Water lovers- world famous Lehigh River Gorge in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains - home to one of the most popular whitewater rafting trips in the country!

Shopping and bargain hunters won't be let down in the Pocono Mountains when they take advantage of the discounted finds at their factory stores, outlet centers, discount stores and flea markets with savings of 25% to 65%.

There are over thirty five golf courses in the Poconos, ranging through all levels and all varieties of playing.

House was gorgeous and included everything the ad said it would include. Owners made it a point to make sure renters knew to call them if we had any issues, which we did not.

Definitely recommend this for a group vacation.

Holiday Get Away

Our vacation was AMAZING!!! We had 6 adults and 3 children, all were very comfortable, lots of space & room. We had fires in the firepit, cooked out on the grill, loved watching the snow over the lake in the early morning hours. Location was perfect! Peaceful and relaxing. VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. They thought of everything. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay and catch up on family time. Definitely recommend Piggy's for breakfast (get there early) and Jim Thorpe for shopping. Outlets were a little too busy and touristy. Snowed Camelback and rode horses. Will definitely plan to stay there again.

We had a great time in Blakeslee, The house was amazing, Eddie and Nancy are wonderful hosts, They take care of any issues you might have, the fishing at the house is great. The house is close to a lot of fun things to do. The boys of the group enjoyed having the downstairs to themselves away from the parents. We will rent this place again, thanks again Eddie and Nancy, you and your house are the best

This house was amazing. It was very CLEAN , which I was happy because I am a clean freak.
We had 10 adults & 4 kids, we had so much room. They had enough dishes for everyone.We did grocery shopping to cook AMAZING KITCHEN. The fireplace was great too..If you rent this house you will not be disappointed. The owners always answer there phones when you call which is a plus. The owners & the care takers are very SWEET. We had snow on Friday night , but we didn't ski. Some of us went snowtubing @ Jack Frost, was great. The others went to the casino , they said it was good. We also went bowling alot of fun. Sunday, we went to the outlets. Then watched the Giant Game LETS GO GIANTS!

Great Place to stay

This home was unbeleivably clean and everything the description says it is. We stayed with 6 adults and 7 kids and there was more than enough room. The views are unbelievable. The Kitchen was spotless as were the bathrooms. Having the deck to sit out and have your coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening was so relaxing. We are looking forward to returning again next year.
