Enjoy a time of fun and relaxation year round in this comfortable lake home on Little Wood Lake. It is just 2 1/2 miles from the World Famous Burnett Dairy Coop on a beautiful 207 acre lake.

In the summer you can enjoy the water activities on the lake, barbeques on the large deck, relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, fishing off the dock, or s'mores over the firepit. In the fall you can experience the vibrant colors and peaceful times for quilting, reading, hiking, biking and hunting. The winter experience is full of activities: ice fishing, snowmobiling on trails that run for miles and cross-country skiing.

This home has all the modern amenities and is fully furnished. On the main floor there is a knotty cedar paneled great room with large screen TV and surround sound, eat-in kitchen, full bathroom with jacuzzi, and two bedrooms. The walkout basement has 2 large bedrooms with 2 bunkbeds in each room. Each bunkbed has a trundle bed which can be pulled out for extra sleep accommodations. There is also a TV room with hide-a-bed sectional & big screen TV, another bedroom/study, full bathroom, shower room, and laundry room on the walkout level,as well.

Why The Owner chose Siren

We were looking for a vacation home that would be within 90 minutes of the Twin Cities. When we found this home, it needed TLC but we could see the potential. Twenty-five years later, the view across the lake hasn't changed. Our family is grown and have families of their own. The legacy of 'times at the lake' continue to the next generation. So, we built a second home on the two lots next door, using the original home as a guest house.

What makes this house unique

This home easily accommodates large families or a couple of small families well. There is a large, tree-lined lawn. The shore is sandy, with a gentle slope. There is a paddleboat and a small fishing boat available for use.

Fabulous Family Week

Our extended family spent a fantastic July week at this lovely home. Many amenities and plenty of room. The lot offers a nice amount of shade, the yard is big and the house is spacious. We had fun and created many memories. Thanks Doug and Judy!

Had a great week!

We just returned from a week at this house. We were a large group of about 21 people, with a lot of little kids under 12. It was perfect! I really appreciated the peacefulness of the place. Most days we were the only people I saw or heard on the lake. The property owners could not be nicer or more welcoming. This is a great find for folks who want to get away with kids. It is very laid back. Would love to go back. Thanks Doug and Judy!

We had a group of 10 adults use this cabin over the New Year's weekend and we couldn't have been more happy! Doug and Judy were easy to work with, the cabin was very nice and clean (the pictures on here don't do it justice), the kitchen was stocked with any equipment you could ask for, there were five private bedrooms (with the option of turning the basement family room into a sixth), we had a beautiful view of the lake, plenty of parking, was easy to find and was a great distance from the Twin Cities at 1.5 hours. We didn't have any kids with us, but this would be an excellent place for families. Two of the rooms had bunkbeds as well as a regular bed. We'll definitely be booking this cabin again!
