Our Stay in Highlands, NC
A perfect place to relax with friends or family. 3 couple friends were in Highlands for a wedding, and rented the home for a weeks stay. We could not have been happier. A home that was wonderfully decorated, with just the perfect amount of room and privacy. The kitchen was more equipped than any of our homes back in Minnesota. Situated between Highlands and Cashiers, it was an ideal location for site seeing, hiking, shopping and going to the local restaurants. Thanks for renting us this wonderful home.

We enjoyed the house, the furniture, the kitchen with everything anybody would need. The house was a home not just a rental property. We liked the gated community, the setting and the lake and use of the canoes. The house was clean and well maintained. The old folks and young folks all enjoyed our visit.

Perfect Vacation in Highlands!
Our trip to Highlands and our stay in this absolutely beautiful home was the highlight of our whole year! When we walked out back, we could hear the water rushing, and we began to relax. The kitchen was incredible, fulling stocked with fantastic cookware and utensils! The interiors were warm and inviting, making us feel we were right at home. One evening, we went down to the Boathouse and enjoyed the beauty at sunset, while some took our the canoes! Wish we were right back there now!

Cool off in the mountains at Lake Osseroga
What a wonderful rental home-it was an honor to stay at Lake Osseroga. Tremendous beauty and comfort enjoyed while staying at this home. We had several young kids and they enjoyed the canoeing and exploring all the while in a very safe area. I especially enjoyed the proximity to both Cashiers, Highlands and Lake Glenville. We had a wonderul time and would certainly rent again. While the lowlands were suffering through 100 degree heat, we experienced a daily high of about 82 degrees!

Your accomodations were top drawer for the 2nd year in a row and expect us to book some time SAME TIME NEXT YEAR. It made for a wonderful birthday for my wife.

GORGEOUS LAKE OSSEROGA HOME
Seven adult members of my family rented this gorgeous home for our yearly retreat. The home was so majestic and peaceful, I had a hard time pulling myself out of it! Everything you need and more is there. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight! The massive porches with a table, rocking chairs, candles and wonderful view were enjoyed by all of us. This home offers alot of privacy. I can't say enough about all the special features and attention to detail the owner has taken to provide for his guests. We were about half way between Highlands and Cashiers which was a great location - close to everything! The owner was very accommodating and available - great to work with. We can't wait to return!

We were thrilled to find such a beautiful home in the exclusive mountain community of Lake Osseroga. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing the simplest or the most elaborate meals and the beds were comfy with luxurious linens. We spent many hours on rocking chairs on the expansive covered porch, that overlooks a pond and waterfall, from which the sounds of rushing water can be heard. A short walk away is Lake Osserroga where many days we peacefully communed with nature while paddling around the lake or in the evening enjoyed the warmth of a sunset with a glass of wine at the boathouse. Mountain trails, such as Whiteside Mountain (which is a mere 5 minutes away)were easily accessible as was a quick trip into the towns of Highlands or Cashiers for shopping or an ice cream treat. This home, which is tastefully decorated with antiques and other fine furnishings, was a warm, comfortable and welcoming place to return home to at the end of our day.
