My husband and I stayed at the condo for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Here is why:
- location: right across from the lift, and a 5 min. drive to Ketchum. We are xc skiers and were initially worried that there would be traffic during the rush hours from the downhill skiers. But there was no traffic at all. It is only a short drive to Sun Valley village xc skiing trails, and 15 mins to Lake Creek trails.
- The condo is away from the road, so it is very quiet in the night.
- Great wood burning fireplace. The owner even provided all the logs for our two weeks stay!
- Well stocked kitchen.
- Nice bedding with cotton blanket and a down comforter
- What makes our stay particularly nice is the wonderful owner. Before, during and at the end of our stay, he reached out to us to see what we needed. I feel that he really wants give his guests a great experience. For example, he lent me a nice thermos and bought a vase just for us as I'd like to have flowers in the room.
We will definitely stay here again if we visit Sun Valley.

We recently enjoyed our first trip to Sun Valley. The following are a few of our favorite highlights:

1. Accommodations - The condo was amazing...even better than described! It is very cozy and has all the amenities one could need. Upon arrival, we were impressed by a very clean condo that was stocked with all types of toiletries and paper products. We were able to prepare several meals within the condo after visiting one of the local grocery stores; every appliance and utensil needed was readily available. Additionally, the washer and dryer within the condo was a fantastic surprise. This made reusing our ski attire more convenient than anticipated. Lastly, the location was invaluable. With a group of beginner/intermediate skiiers, we had planned on spending our time at Dollar Mountain. Stepping out of the front door of the condo, one can be at Dollar in less than 1 minute. Whether you are transporting your own equipment or renting from Dollar, the proximity could not be better.

2. Transportation - Snowcreek condos are nearby two stops on the free public transportation (KART - Ketchum Area Rapid Transit). Coming from the east, we opted not to rent a car for this trip. We had no difficulty getting around using this system. Had it been warmer (We were in Sun Valley in late January and temperatures were typically in the 20-30s during the day and 0-15 during the evening.), walking to Ketchum from the condo would have been possible.

3. Assistance - John and his property manager, Bart, are incredibly helpful! They both went out of their way to make sure that our questions were answered and that we had everything we needed to have the best possible stay in Sun Valley. John and his family made a useful "travelers' guide," which is located on the coffee table in the condo. We found this to be very informative; we especially enjoyed trying most of the recommended restaurants.

4. Recommendations - We absolutely recommend this condo to a small family or group of friends looking to have a great time in Sun Valley/Ketchum, Idaho!
- Restaurants: Perry's, The Kneadery (breakfast/brunch), The Pioneer (great steaks, prime rib), Boca (awesome tapas place), Grumpy's (local spot for burgers and beer, located near Hemmingway's grave site for those who are interested). The sleigh ride to Trail Creek Cabin, as well as the gondola ride up to the Roundhouse at Bald Mountain are two must do options, as well.
-Shopping: Check out the charming shops in Ketchum and Sun Valley.

We had a wonderful experience staying in the condo in Sun Valley! It was so perfect for the kids and adults. It was great to have a place to cook meals and just relax. The kids LOVED the games. The hot tub was perfect with the cool weather and we had a great time roaming the town and shopping while my husband attended a conference at the Sun Valley lodge. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with our family. We hope to come back and stay again!!

My recent weekend trip to Sun Valley was enhanced by the hassle-free rental experience provided by the owner of this unit and the property manager. Both the owner and the property manager were very easy to work. They provided helpful information about the Sun Valley area and seemed truly concerned that we enjoy our stay in the unit and the area. The unit was clean and comfortable and the location met our needs perfectly (easy walk to Sun Valley village, quick drive to Ketchum, and great hikes just a few miles away). I would definitely recommend this property to close friends and family. The actual rental was a breeze, the location was great, the unit itself had everything we needed, and, based on my research, was comparatively, a good value too.

This condo is very, very well maintained and very, very well equiped. Also is it very convenient to the Sun Valley lodge and activities. The property manager was vert helpful. We would like to rent this again.

The only issue was the paint crew and you could not have know about that. We loved the location snd the accommodations!

Great well priced condo in Sun Valley, ID. Very nicely kept place close to everything. The owner is awesome & wants to be sure you have a great time. I will finitely rent from him again. If you haven't visited Sun Valley ( Ketchum), ID it's a very friendly active place!

My wife and I spent two nights at this well located and appointed condo right in Sun Valley. An easy walk to everything including the ski lifts for skiers, and a two minute drive to the shops and restaurants in Ketchum. John and his manager, Bart, were very attentive to every question and need and could be contacted easily at any time. Comfy and clean, this condo is a perfect place for a couple with or without kids and provides a real plus for those who like a heated pool and hot tub on the grounds. This is a real home away from home that we would recommend to anyone.
