Awesome Condo! Awesome Location! Awesome Owners!

We haven't been home a week and I find myself wanting to go back. We rented this condo for 3 and it was perfect for us. Our main concerns were location, on the beach (not across like so many in Destin), cleanliness and comfort. The minute we walked in the door we could see the water out the back door which went right onto a covered deck. The furnishings were nice and comfortable, the condo was clean and after we stopped ooooing and aaahhing at the beautiful ocean and beach, we went upstairs to get situated. 2 nice size bedrooms and a bath a piece and we knew we were at home! Our bedroom had a deck right off the bedroom with no cover so you have the best of both worlds - sun upstairs or shade downstairs where there is a half bath, not requiring you to go upstairs every time the need arises. Just out the door, down a few steps and onto a newly replace boardwalk brings you to the steps down to your own private beach. We've been many times but for us, this was our favorite because it was perfectly located to Seascape golf course (a destination for our friend daily) and to all our faves as far as food, spirits and groceries. The weather was so perfect we were able to turn off the a/c and leave our doors open where we had a great breeze blow through from the back doors. A few short miles and you can run to Destin Wharf and walk and shop and enjoy the food/spirits there. We did it all! One of the best things for us was the owners came and we were able to meet them both. Al and Pam were wonderful, friendly people and attentive and we felt welcome immediately. They are the type people you feel you've known all of your life. I find no reason to look for another unit to rent for our next Destin vacation. We go every April and some sporadic trips and this will be our 1st choice from here on out. You won't be disappointed!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Destin has always been a great vacation spot for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 and 10). Al's town home did not disappoint. Everything was clean, well stocked and having a parking spot right at your door was a bonus. The views from the deck and balcony were amazing. You really couldn't ask to be any closer to the beach. The sugary sand and clear waters were quite a sight to be seen. Albeit the water was quite chilly when we were there, it didn't stop the kids from playing in it. You are also just minutes away from anything you might need...grocery store, restaurants and their outlet mall :). We definitely would recommend this place to any of our friends and family. Al was very easy to work with and prompt with any questions we had. Had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

If you want more in a townhome than this unit....YOU have a problem...
If you want closer to the beach than this....buy a boat...
The owners absolutely assure your stay is perfect...they were delightful...
Drive right up to the door...no elevators or stairs...propane grill included...deck equipment including table/chairs/cushions...a kitchen where everything WORKS...from garbage disposal to blenders...to stone to sharpen the chef knife...
close to everything...Winn-Dixie to Walmart ...Liquor to Alvins...walk on beach to 2 restaurants...
Destin's best location...and IMPORTANT---a parking lot which eliminates dangerous blind-backing onto the busy highway..
All you need to bring is sunscreen!

Great location and experience!

We rented the unit for a couple of weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is great..close to all conveniences and access to the beach. The best part is certainly the beach and water right there on backyard/deck...if you are going with young kids this is a big plus!
Nicely redone interiors especially on the main level. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. The appliances are all in working order. There is also a small w/d unit upstairs that is certainly convenient for an extended stay. The owners are certainly easy to do business with.
Certainly on our list to get back to for more fond memories!

It Did!!

You know that moment when you open the door to see if what you have been looking at online measures up? It did! And then you walk straight out to the deck to see your view. Great deck with wonderful view! It rained almost every day we were there but sitting out on the covered deck watching the lightening, clouds and rain out on the ocean was so relaxing. The unit was clean and well maintained, A/C worked great! Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Al was very nice and easy to work with. We have stayed in several condos and townhomes in Destin and this one made the "Yes, we would stay here again!" list!!

WAY Better Than Five Stars: We Give It Straight 10s!!

Private beach. Sugar-white sand. Every possible amenity. Crisp, clean and comfy. Reserved off-street parking for two cars directly outside your door. Delightful owner. Be sure to take an easy beach walk to Pompano Joe's for lunch...and a 5-minute drive to Camille's for righteous gumbo, deck seating, and savvy service. Seriously, we're very picky...and the sole 'complaint' we could muster was having stayed just a week. This one's a keeper, and we'll do our best to get back soon. Thanks again Al.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED

I cant begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our vacation here. The weather was perfect and so was the townhouse. You really cant get any closer to the beach than this, literally like 15 steps and you are where you are sitting for the day. We found everything we needed there, Kitchen was very stocked. We enjoyed BOTH balconies. I loved waking up every morning and walking out on the balcony and going out out on the master balcony while watching the sun set. The owner Al was there on the last day and he is one of the nicest people you will meet and very easy to work with. I also received my deposit back in one week. Do yourself a favor and BOOK this place.

Outstanding!

We spent a long weekend in this unit and it was great! We stay in the Destin area several times a year and have rented many condos and townhomes, my friend and I agreed that this one cannot be beat!! The owner is very easy to work with, the interior is just as described and photographed, and the proximity to the sand and water is fabulous. I have tried to think of anything that could be improved upon, but I truly can't think of a thing!

A great way to spend our spring break

This town home was perfect for our family of 6. We loved being right on the beautiful beach. We had a great time relaxing on the beach and even caught some great fish in the surf. We are already trying to find a time to go back.

Wonderful rental!

After searching the HomeAway site extensively, we chose this condo to rent during February of 2012. It met our needs >perfectly<.
Our biggest requirement was that the waves had to be "right there". Not "steps away", or "2 blocks from". No. The waves had to be out the door, and this place has it! The sound of surf meeting sand was beyond relaxing and enjoyable. The view was absolutely unbeatable.
The main level of the condo is beautifully updated. We did a fair amount of cooking while there, and the only thing we brought from home was a crock pot. The kitchen was stocked well enough to handle anything else we wanted to do. Hubby was thrilled with the "man cave sized" flat screen tv in the living room. We were there during the Superbowl, so he was loving the tv. And a half bath on the main floor is very convenient!
Another requirement for us was a washer and dryer. It allowed us to bring significantly less clothing, and not have to find a laundromat. The stacking unit in this rental is small-ish, but it was the right size for us.
The master bedroom was also a favorite. With it's own bathroom, as well as the door to the upper deck, much time was spent in that vacinity. We joked that if we didn't have to eat, there'd be no reason to leave that little area! The kind sized bed was quite comfy.
This rental is a walk-able distance to Pompano Joes, which had fabulous food and an awesome view. There are grocery stores, many restaurants, shopping galore, and wonderful sight-seeing ALL quite close to this rental. Yup, even a SuperWalmart. We lacked for nothing.
The owner was very prompt with e-mail replies. He answered all our Q's. We met Al when we first arrived, as he was also there, doing some work. Very friendly. Made us feel good about the choice of rentals.
We would definately recommend this unit to someone who is looking to rent. When the description says you can't get any closer to the beach without sand in your sheets.... that's totally accurate! We can envision folks of any adult age enjoying this condo and location. The next time we are looking to get away for a while during winter, we will start by checking the availability here!
