This was my second time staying at this particular home, and I have to say that this time was as welcoming and comfortable as the first time. You have the best of both worlds here: you can reconnect with nature: we saw wild turkeys, a small black bear, a fox, and even an eagle hunting prey right outside the deck! And of course the deer which are everywhere. You can also visit the small petting farm with goats, sheep, pigs, llamas, and go for a horseback ride. If you prefer to lounge by the pool, hang by the bar, or eat delicious restaurant meals, you can also do that here. Otherwise, if you or your children rather stay in, this house is clean, open and spacious, with a big playroom in the bottom floor, 3 flat screen TVs, and did I mention WI-Fi? so you don't have to get unplugged, unless you want to!

Written by owner on belalf of renters: Beautiful home with attention to detail. The homeowner was extremely accomodating. Maps, activites, and menus provided. Close to the lake/beach. No shortage of activities and fun. My entire family had an excellent, stress-free vacation.

I found that the ease in dealing with the owner and gaining acces to the home and all property amenities was by far the best out of all the homes I have rented throughout the years. The only aspect exceeding the convenience of access was the home itself. It was perfect for the romanitic weekend getaway for two or family fun filled vacation. Both the bedrooms and common rooms were spacious and comfortable and all activities were a short drive or ATV ride from the home. Pack your backs and book this home.

The description of this house fits it perfectly- but vacationing in person does this house even more justice. The layout of the house is perfect, for both large parties and a romantic weekend away with your spouse. The entire property is immaculate, from every aspect. The large living room/den/kitchen is perfect for a cozy retreat by the fireplace. The back porch is perfect to sit and relax, and watch the deer that come as close as ever to say hello. My boyfriend and I will definately be returning for another weekend "away from it all".

This property was just perfect for our weekend. We were very pleasantly surprise with how clean, comfortable and well equipped the house is maintained. There is a close lodge with all around activities, Great for families with small children, teenagers or for a couple to relax. We are already planning for our ski weekend back. Highly recommended.

You can never say you'll get bored in Masthope; there are so many activities, you will want to stay extra days to fit it all in!, and this is the perfect house to stay in. It is very spacious with an open layout and it is VERY clean! It was such a great experience that I plan to stay at this house everytime I go back to Masthope....
