Beyond my expectations!

We stayed in the Hibiscus studio for nine days this summer. When I arrived, i was very impressed with the place. Despite being a "studio", the place had a lot of space and energy. The studio is very clean and I could tell that the owner, the fabulous Gayln, put of lot of energy into making the place cozy, chic and upscale. She paid attention to every little detail, yet the space is uncluttered and airy. The bed is very comfortable- I slept like a baby. The kitchen is very clean and great for cooking when we didn't want to go out. There's a cute lanai in the front, which is like a porch, but with screens that shade you from bugs. The studio is close to a beach that doesn't have too many people and a quick drive away from Paia town and Kahului.
Gayln is the sweetest- She made sure that we had everything we needed and more. The area has an outdoor shower, compost, and complete recycling are so it's very eco-conscious.
Staying here, i really felt in a luxurious place, and i had all the privacy i needed. There wasn't anything i didn't like about staying here, so i know i will be back. It's not often that a place exceeds my expectations but doesn't break my bank. =)

True vision of paradise

Our stay at Ginger Hale cottage was more than we could have dreamt of. It was super clean, very well decorated lots of space and an amazing atmosphere. Picking your own herbs and bananas from the garden and walking distance to the beach made our stay perfect. As soon as I go back to Maui I will definately book with Gayln again.

We were welcomed personally by the owner who showed us to our very own covered parking spot under our cottage lanai and next to our outdoor shower. We were close enough to the beach to hear it, and were right around the corner from Baby Beach. It was like our own personal cove! The cottage itself was adorable, with beautiful hawaiian details in every corner. Everything we could have wanted or needed was within a 2 minute drive, and our favorite Paia restaurants were right down the street. We will not stay anywhere else from now on. Mahalo!

We stayed at the Ginger Cottage for five nights and absolutely loved everything about it! The owner was incredibly helpful and even drove a piece of our luggage to the airport when we forgot it in the cottage. We can't wait to stay there again.

Greetings, I would like the opportunity to share my experience of staying at this peace of heaven on Maui. When I first walked into the cottage the energy was palpable and it lent me a feeling of being right at home from the very beginning. As I walked around and familiarized myself to this wonderful cottage, I felt that I was transported into a wonderful concept of what a tahitian cottage really is like. I automatically loved all of the furnishings and I could tell that a lot of thought and attention went into this lovely place. What I loved the most was the peace and the tranquility that I found there. The time that I was there, was so memorable and that is what vacations are about. I look forward to going back and staying there again and again, hopefully soon. Maui has a magical way. If your are fortunate enough to stay there, you will want to return. What a place. Owner was helpful, friendly, and hospitable. The place was clean, well appointed with all that you needed. Best location, walkable to 2 beaches and close to town.
