This was a terrific condo!! It was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The owners went above and beyond for us. We have stayed at other VRBO places in different areas of the USA. I can easily say this was the best yet! The condo property is well maintained and the walkway to the beach is easily accessible and clean. I can't say enough good things about this property and the owners. Amelia Island is not the typical tourist oriented community. That in itself is refreshing. There are several great restaurants to choose from. Shopping is nearby. We will definately try to plan another trip to stay here again.

This condo directly fronts to the beach with view to lawn and pool below, exactly as pictured in the photos. It has a perfect floor plan with a room-wide beautiful ocean view from the living room, which includes a fold out sofa, flat screen TV/blue ray/ethernet cable/wifi. The kitchen, with W/D and all normal appliances, is open to the living area with dining table adjacent. The large bedroom has full glass door/windows to the ocean and a full width enclosed balcony with lounges. Utility closet is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing gear, fins, etc., all that you would find in an owners unit. There isn’t a thing you could want for your vacation that is not there. The owners have thought of everything, including a perfectly organized binder filled with things to do and restaurant menus. And the condo is very well maintained and immaculately clean. The owners are so helpful and determined to make your vacation great.

The condo is in a beautiful area. A boardwalk passes the pool to dunes and beach. Nice walk up dune road or beach to the Ritz Carlton. A mile south to our favorite lunch/dinner/takeout spot (Gourmet Gourmet). The Old Town section of Fernandina Beach with historic buildings, tourist shops and restaurants is conveniently located a few miles away. Also conveniently located is a shopping area with the usual Wal-Mart and other stores for residents.

Don’t miss the Fort Clinch State Park at the north end with the well-preserved Civil War fort, as well as nature trails, etc. Take the 45 minute drive to St. Marys, GA to get the 9AM boat to Cumberland Island National Seashore another barrier island with old Carnegie family homes and wilderness area. Take the 5-hour NPS van tour to see all of it and get an expert explanation of the fascinating island history and see the wild horses.

Great place to visit and this condo made for a most pleasant home base. You won't be disappointed if you choose it for your vacation.

We recently stayed here (January 2013) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The bed in the bedroom is extremely comfortable; there were beach chairs, goggles, etc. in the closet; and the view is fantastic. There is also a twin-size inflatable mattress available if needed and the WiFi worked great. The owners are also incredibly helpful -- they offered to put a few jars of baby food in the frig for us and even purchased a Pack-N-Play since they didn't have one (it's stored there for all new parents thinking of renting!).

We just returned from Amelia Island and from staying in this condo, we could not have asked for a better experience. The owner was the most accomodating lady I have had the pleasure to deal with in the many times I have used VRBO to locate a property. Every question about the property was answered immediately via email and once we arrived at the property we had everything we needed in the unit. The view of the ocean and beach is exactly as it is pictured in the photos, it is a very short walk out onto the beach. The condo itself is immaculate and your every need is taken care of, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are there, no need to bring your own. Having a full size washer and dryer in the unit was very helpful, we came home with no laundry to do because we did it before we left. I would be remiss in not mentioning that the king size bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a rental condo. The lanai which can be reached from the living room or bedroom was a treat to sit on and read on or just enjoy the view of the ocean and beach. The grocery store is very close, just around the corner and the owner also left us a sheet of recommendations for dining, sightseeing and shopping which was very helpful. We vacation in Florida twice a year and will definitely be repeat renters of this property we could not have asked for a better vacation while staying at the Amelia Island Surf and Racquet Club!

Took a detour to Amelia Island on my way back to Canada in January 2012 and I was very pleased with my decision. Great condo with a wonderful view of the ocean and the sunrise. The historic district was quaint and reminded me of Merrickville, Ontario. The owner was very nice and accommodating even though my booking was a last minute decision. Unfortunately no wifi and the TV’s were small and outdated. But other than that the place was clean and very comfortable. I would love to return next year for an even longer visit
