We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the very well equipped Otter Lane Carriage House. Caroline & Larry are wonderful hosts and have provided everything one needs when away from home. The build quality of the carriage house suite is fantastic. The layout and decor is functional, clean, and tasteful. The property is beautiful. Any expectations we had before arriving were exceeded after settling in.

We made regular trips to the Integrated Health Clinic in Fort Langley and each way the trip was always slightly under a half hour. The drive was pleasant and relaxing. It gave us a chance to see the countryside and would recommend the suite to anyone who find themselves in the area for the clinic or any other reason. We found sanctuary at the suite and found it very peaceful, homey, and comfy.

I can highly recommend this little apartment to everyone who is looking for a quiet and charming retreat. Set in the countryside (but not too far off) the apartment misses nothing. The furniture is very well chosen, the decoration makes it homey and welcoming. It was very clean and looked after. We loved the big balcony where you can sit for hours and listen to the birds songs. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. We would definitely come back!

Otter Lane is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. It is located in a very quiet and beautiful area, surrounded by hobby farms and acreages, but close to Langley and all its amenities. The studio is very clean, comfortable, and nicely finished and furnished. It has a well designed and efficient layout which makes it feel spacious, a practical bathroom, and a thoughtfully equipped kitchen supplemented by an electric grill on the deck (especially useful on hot days). The owners are friendly, helpful, and prompt in their response. It’s perfect for two people who are looking for a relaxing place in the country but still want modern comfort and convenience.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The amenities are wonderful and beyond our expectations. The bathroom is great. The kitchenette was fully equipped with more than the basics which was wonderful. Farm fresh eggs, club soda water and bottles of mineral water were welcome treats. The bed was great as well and we had restful sleeps which rejuvenated us to do more sightseeing during the day. The drive to and from the cottage is not a problem because there are wonderful sights worth looking at. The TV was awesome and there is a wide array of DVDs to watch, it is just that they don't subscribe to Fox News, but that's alright. The internet was quick and sharp and so with cellphone connection there was no problem at all.

The description of the property and the pictures posted online are accurate and as expected. The place was well maintained and clean so are the bedding, towels and linen. Everything is just wonderful and at the end of the day, going back to the place is a restful respite knowing that everything close to home is available.

The owner is great and a wonderful lady. We too met her two children who were both very accomodating and knowledgeable. We met Dexter the dog who was very friendly and nice. Overall rating from 1 - 10, 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest, we would rate this place 9. We would love going to this place again and we would gladly recommend this to our family and friends....

My wife and I just completed a 2 month stay at Otter Lane and truely enjoyed the privacy of country living combined with the luxury of such a beautiful suite. We would highly recommend these accomodations to anyone seeking privacy, with easy access to the city and the border. Thanks Carolne and Larry for such a great stay.......Dan and Jeannie.
