This is a very interesting and relaxing place to escape the everyday clamor and reconnect with friends and family. We especially enjoyed the interior decor with beautiful wood and rock, and the very spacious, private outdoor property with continuously babbling creek flowing right under a bridge connecting the upper and lower deck area. The owner is a pleasure to work with, and the cabin is clean and ready for your stay.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for natural beauty and solitude or relaxed, pleasant family gatherings.

Wow, this property was even better than the pictures. We have rented in this area before and were truly impressed in all of the cabins interior details. From the stone work in the shower to the cypress furniture it was indeed a true treat. The location was prime, close to 515 which made daily excursions a breeze. Centrally located to Helen, Vogal, Blue Ridge and Dahlonega. The peaceful babble of the creek and the stocked pond made for more enjoyment. This property is a must to anyone seeking a private get away or a family vacation!

In a word great. The location was serene, the cabin cozy and comfortable. What else can you ask for! Well equipped with the basics and technology there if you want or need. Kids (11&9) and us had an excellent stay only too short. Lots to see close by. Marsha was helpful and very easy to talk to. We plan to stay here again and would recommend it to our friends and family.

This property was perfect for a peaceful family Thanksgiving. We spent hours around the firepit adjacent to the stream, with a plentiful supply of firewood. The cabin was clean, well decorated, comfortable and in good condition. It was better than the listing photographs showed. The road noise was the only reminder you were not deep in the woods, as it backs onto a wooded area. It was, however, within easy driving distance of three recreation areas for hiking, which was our focus. We found the owner friendly and responsive, and would recommend this cabin to families.

We loved this cabin, as our daughter called it "the tree house". It's very unique, which we loved. Everything was clean and well stocked. It's also very convenient to a variety of places to go. It's a quick drive to either Blueridge or Blairsville, and close to numerous hiking trails including the Aska adventure area. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with too.

This property is really one of a kind. It is different than anything we have ever seen. Outside of the property you will find a very nice creek that starts at the back of the property and goes all the way to the front, the owners have built a small bridge that takes you over the creek and up the hill where you can sit in the gazebo and overlook the pond and creek. Inside the property everything is done with stones and logs, it looks very original. The furniture is also extremely interesting including a large dining table that looks like it was made from a very large walnut tree, it is a piece of work. The location was also excellent, secluded and private but easily accessible and near town. Very well done !!!!!!

Great Place to get away and still be close to everything. Cabin was nicely decorated and everything was set for dinner. all you had to do was bring the food. We had lunch in Murphy NC and took the train up to Copperhill TN.
Tried catching fish in the pond but they must have gone to school.
"come on down" as they say and have a wonderful vacation at the BlueRidge Log cabin.

My family loved this cabin. Every detail was just right. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing mornings in the swing overlooking the creek, while my kids (9 and 7) spent hours exploring in the creek. The cabin had all of the modern comforts you would expect while still being rustic and unique. Marsha was excellent to deal with and was incredibly helpful. When we weren't hanging out at the cabin, we went tubing, hiking, swimming in the lake at Vogel State Park, gem mining/gold panning, and just enjoying the beautiful scenery. We even had fun on a rainy day playing games and spending time together in the cabin. The cabin was conveniently located where you have a lot of privacy yet aren't far from things to do. We saved a lot of money by doing a lot of easy meals at the cabin rather than eating out all the time. We did enjoy eating at Pappy's where my 7 year old decided that rainbow trout is his new favorite food. My sons' one disappointment was not catching a lot of fish, but they had enough fun doing other things that even that didn't matter much. Being from Florida, we typically do beach vacations, so our trip to the mountains was a great change of pace and a fun new experience. We want to come back one day to do whitewater rafting (my husband's pretrip shoulder injury cancelled those plans) and we would definitely stay here again. This was our first experience with a vacation rental home and it was awesome. It is a great way to travel and far superior to a hotel for an even better price. We felt like we got a great value for a wonderful place.
