The Little House in the Pass is located on the Dairy Road (25th Ave) four blocks from Fireman's Park and one house from the ball diamond in the community of Bellevue. The front veranda faces Turtle Mountain where the famous Frank Slide originated. The house sits on a huge lot (120'x240') with lots of large leafy trees and a massive rock outcrop bordering the huge back yard.
The living room includes comfortable leather furniture, a cozy electric fireplace, a 42'' plasma TV with DVD/VCR and satellite service, and a broadband internet connection. The dining room seats six comfortably. One bedroom has a comfy queen-bed with new pillow-top posturepedic mattress and TV/VCR, the second and third bedrooms have two twin beds each. A portable crib can also be provided upon request.
The kitchen is large and well-equipped with new appliances and lots of storage for food and supplies. There is also a washer and dryer in the back room.
The park-like outdoor area includes a patio set and firepit with lots of seating on the large flagstone/paving stone patio. There are lots of trees with a double-wide hammock, a variety of horsey-swings, and a sandbox for the little ones.
A selection of games, books, movies, and kids toys are available for your enjoyment. Bikes, fishing rods and outdoor recreation equipment can be provided upon request.
Nearby summer activities include hiking, biking, fishing, and caving. Winter activities include snowmobiling and cross-country skiing, with first-rate downhill skiing at Fernie and Castle Mountain Ski Resorts which are both 45 minutes away.
