They were super helpful with the process of me staying there. Answered all my inquiries before booking the place. Found the location real quick. Very friendly upon my late night arrival. My place to stay had abundant space, comfy bed and lots of storage for things. I loved the sounds of the rainforest and the perfect temperature for sleeping. The bathroom had plenty of room in addition to their outdoor showers. The architecture is so detailed. They had fresh papayas, bananas, coconuts herbs, spices and veggies from their land to use for the meals during my stay. So delicious and yummy! I really enjoyed eating there. There are also chickens that provide fresh eggs and are a great sight to see. The wildlife there is so thrilling to witness. I enjoyed photographing the red or blue local Hawaiian birds and the colorful green geckos too. During my 2 week stay, there were a variety of classes that I participated in such as yogalates, Qi Gong, Kung Fu, Kundalini dance, Capoeira and Hula class. They also had special guests during the week that had informative workshops such as the Compost Tea class, Keys to longevity, and my favorite the Hawaiian planting class where you get Taro and replant for their next harvest months from now. On the weekends during my time there, I had the pleasure of attending several concerts which included the Blue Star Octave, Youssoupha, and Makaya. For unwinding after a long day, they have a Jacuzzi, sauna and a shower in the spa room as I like to call it which I may have used at least once or twice a day between my island adventures. They also have a suspended bed that lets you feel like you are in a hanging cradle. If you have the additional need to work out, they have a full outdoor gym in the jungle; so awesome! There's a laundry room. Pahoa town is nearby too; walking, and or biking distance. It felt like home staying here :) They also have internet if you feel the need to plug back into the Matrix. Will return again with friends and family in the near future to share my sensational experiences with them. I recommend Waipio valley and black sand beach below. Check out the volcano, green sand beach with sea turtles nearby south point. Akaka and Rainbow falls near Hilo. Warm ponds for sunrises and Kona for sunsets. Capt. Cook monument for snorkeling with dolphins and city of refuge at sunset. Night time diving with manta rays. Visit Mauna Kea at sunrise. Pololu valley lookout past Hawi. Take a Mac nut and Kona coffee tour.
