House, 6 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4 Baths, (Sleeps 14-25)

Spacious, 2800 sq ft, 6 bedroom, 4 bath, private country home has large eat-in kitchen and lots of sun-facing windows to view the beautiful trees of the countryside. The living and dining areas are also large with lots of space to congregate in front of the river-rock, wood-burning fireplace. The master-suite is a huge king bedroom suite with a two-person whirlpool tub and full bath. Another queen bedroom suite is large with a single bed, child bed, and a half bath. Two queen bedrooms have a full bath between them which is also shared by the main floor. The lower level has a queen bedroom and another huge room with a queen, 2 fulls, a twin bed and a full bath. There are 2 game rooms with a basketball game, foosball table, air hockey, Wii, electronic darts, ping pong table, and toys.

There are many activities to do outside: swimming(pool is 24 x 4), volleyball, ladder ball, bean bag toss, softball, kickball, football, safe bike riding in long driveway; we have two small bikes for middle schoolers or you can bring bikes as the trail is close.

There are bunny hills for sledding, tubing, and snowboarding. We have 6 sleds, including 2 toddler sleds and 2 snow boards.

The bike/snow mobile trail is a mile and within 5 miles is tube, kayak, and canoe rental. Fishing and hunting areas are nearby.

You can vegetable/ flower/water garden (5 water gardens). There are fruit trees and grape vines.

This home is perfect for one person who wants to get away from it all to quiet and peace; or for a romantic couple retreat; and for any friend or family gathering. Come... get away to the private peacefulness of the countryside.

About The Owner

This private country home with awesome views in Albany,Wi has been in the family of Pamela Kennedy - Wollin since 1973. Her parents raised her and her 6 siblings there until her and her husband took over the home in 1991 to raise their family there. With the children grown, they wanted to pass the joys of the countryside to others. Pamela is a Dr. of Naturopathic and Integrative Medicine and has been in practice for 16 yrs in Monroe,Wi. Rick is a semi driver. They have four children and 7 grandchildren.

Rick and Pamela remember raising their family and were always looking for affordable vacations that had enough room for them all. Their goal is to provide vacation affordability to every family. They believe they have the ' lowest price for the value' vacation home of anyone.

Great Out of the Way Place To Stay!

We were here over Memorial Day weekend for my brother's bachelor party. The house is in a great quiet spot with plenty of room to have fun outside without anyone getting upset about noise. Pam was great and very responsive leading up to the stay. Highly recommended!

This house offers a very peaceful getaway. We brought 17 people and their was plenty of room to spare! - lots of fun things to do, plenty of grass for throwing the football and great indoor places to hangout.

This house was amazing! Beautiful kitchen with huge windows to see sunrise/sunset, nature watch, etc. The house had plenty of rooms and comfortable beds, and was very clean and organized. This is a great house to get away for a while because it is very secluded and private. We had a blast, and if you go don't forget to see the chickens!

great space, tons of room in the kitchen/family room areas for gathering and playing games. Also lots of beds which fits a ton of people. Very remote location which is nice. also kitchen has everything you may need. Owner is responsive to questions. would definitely stay here again!

Christmas Weekend

Spent the weekend 12/21 to 12/24 with 16 family members at this rental, we had a great time. The place is a farm house and has much to offer, we did a lot of sledding, bird watching, and caught all the football games (Dish TV). The place is spacious and has an excellent ktichen (remodeled) set up, had everything we needed and then some. No problem with finding a place to sleep plenty of beds for all of us. Monticello which is about 8 miles away offered a wonderful local grocery store with Monroe about another 11 miles, offering a town square for shopping and a wonderful place to buy those delicious WI cheese curds. It is a country farm house so know that it is not a 5 star hotel but it is very clean, spacious, and where else can you easily fit 16 people for the price. We had a great time and were very satisfied with what the rental offered. Thanks !! The owners were great to work with.

Great place

We had a wonderful time at Rick's home. His communication prior to the stay was good and the place was clean upon our arrival. They had a ton of activities - we played kickball, volleyball, football, ladders, and softball. The place has a great country and rustic feel to it, and could hold 20 people no problem. The only issue was an extra processing fee that wasn't included in the agreement, but we were allowed extra time on our last day to make up for it. Two thumbs up, our group is considering another stay.

I apologize for forgetting to put the credit processing on the agreement but thankful we could make it up to you by allowing you to stay the whole day instead of checking out at 11am.
When we have our family reunions there, we play kickball/softball too and it's what the grandkids talk about for days afterwards. We are putting in a pool-table room soon so I think your group will enjoy that as well. Thank you again for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon!

Lots of Room

We arrived on 9/14 and had 12-15 people staying with us. The house was plenty roomy and very private. Had lots of fun and if we return to the area we would rent this house again. It has everything from linens to coffee to all the pots and pans necessary. Thanks to the owners!!

A Great Retreat!

I visited this vacation rental property twice in the past two months, and each time it's a paradise that you won't want to leave. The house is very clean and spacious, the country atmosphere promoting peace and quiet is awesome, and all the amenities you could ask for are at your fingertips. The interior decor is charming and very well done. You have a base camp to enjoy the nearby towns of Monticello, New Glarus, and Monroe. The owners are so personable and readily answer any questions either via e-mail or telephone promptly. We enjoyed the swimming pool, playing ladder golf, air hockey, watching movies, and spending quality time at this gem of a place...a diamond on the ladder scale! I believe this is the one-of-a-kind vacatation rental that really fills the bill!

A MUST STAY PLACE!!! We took the whol family, extended family. We had about 16 and all slept comfortable! You could add more people if you brought a few airmatress. It was great for the little kids, big kids, and adults. Swimming pool was huge and amazing! We had a campfire, played yard games(cause the yard is huge). The inside was amazing. Very clean.The owners were so nice and helpful with everything! It is also the lowest price place around! I couldnt believe how cheap it was to stay here and when the place is AMAZING!!!!!!!! We also enjoyed the whirpool tub upstairs!!!!! It is a perfect getaway for your family or just as a couple!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We plan to come back for our family reunion!

We recently had our family reunion here was a great time. Plenty of room for all 30 of us. Nice and clean house and very helpful owners. We enjoyed the game room and all the outside activity's our grand children want to come back. Very peaceful and quiet (until we all arrived).
