What a wonderful surprise to see in person this wonderful "Cottage".. The Cottage met all expectations from having a georgeous setting with a pond in the back and a short block or so to the beach to the Cottage itself being ideal for a week-end or the week. The Cottage is wonderfully appointed with each room carrying its own theme and atmosphere. The layout of the Cottage with its many bedrooms to an almost open air living/sun room with a view to die for. Parents with children will especially love the Cottage with a long hallway separating the game room from the rest of the house. The game room comes alive with a pool table, ping pong table, a large TV complete with an interactive video game system. There is also a bedroom suite within the large game room wing to set the young ones up with everything needed to keep them busy while the parents can enjoy their own space getting to know each other again free from the busy daily work routine at home. With all the bedrooms, friends of the family also would have their own space in having not to be on top of one another.
Another benefit of the Cottage's wonderful setting and location is being able to ride the provided bicycles a short distance to the many amenitiesof the "Cloisters" including a wonderful swimming pool as well as golfing, fishing, etc. to enjoy the day and then to cap the day with wonderful evening dining offered by the "Cloisters".
St Simmons offers interesting places to visit, dine and shop as does nearby Brunswick.
Believe me, we are two senior seniors that travel extensively and have found this particular "Cottage" a most delightful stay with a location within easy distance from all the wonderful experiences to be found on Sea Island.

I gave it the 5 star rating of excellent only because that is the highest rating choice option. My family and I stayed the last week in April, and it exceeded all of our expectations without question. On a scale of 1-10 it easily deserves a rating of 20. Absolutely off the charts. The home is furnished / equipped with everything you would ever need. The home itself is nicely decorated and very comfortable for all. The owners were easily accessible and happy to help out with any questions we had. We had a wonderful time and were saddened to leave. Definitely looking forward to returning and believe we have found our yearly vacation spot. The kids loved the Game Room and Large Flat Screens. The Beach was just across the street and we had it to ourself. The Clubhouse was just a few blocks and the pools and playground were great. To all that read this, Don't hesitate to book your reservations at this house, you won't regret it. If your looking for lodging for a large group this home will absolutely suit your needs. Lots of great family memories are waiting to be made. To the owners, thank you so much and we'll be in contact to reserve our vacation next year.
