I also have provided a detailed map so you know exactly where the condo is (don't worry, its in a great place - Boca Grande!) Unfortunately, NO PETS due to Condo Association rules.
Great location on the most unspoiled island in Florida with a world-class view of the Gulf of Mexico overlooking Gasparilla Pass. 2 bed, 2 bath condo on the second floor with a full kitchen, full size washer-dryer, and large lanai with a table and 2 lounge chairs. Master has a king bed and a direct view of the Gulf, walk-in closet, powder room, and en-suite, 2-sink master bathroom. Guest bedroom has a queen and a twin for maximum couples/kids flexibility, with a living room pullout couch too. The whole unit has been tastefully redecorated and fully outfitted by the current owner.
Description Cont. : The unit has three TVs including a flat screen in the living room, VCR and DVD player, and full sound system with cd/tape player. The condo is also equipped with a wireless, password protected router for high speed, secure internet access. Wake up to the sounds of dolphins playing in the pass below your window. Sunsets on the lanai are the best on the island - it is like a view from a cruise ship. Great location during tarpon season. Boat parking and boat ramp nearby. Boat slips, bikes, golf carts, kayaks, and other services can be rented or arranged through the on-site Boca Grande North office next to the pool. Sunbathing beach, pool, hot tub, tennis court, and great fishing are all on-premises. Town, shopping, restaurants, and more beaches are nearby. Boca Grande Village
Named to the National Register of Historic places in 2009, take a walk back in time when you visit town with its unique Florida history and quaint restaurants and shops. Boca Grande is where everyone gets around on bikes or golf carts and waves 'hello!' to friends and strangers alike.
Personally, I haven't found another place in Florida with no traffic lights (none), no eight-lane roads (still none), and no high-rises (unless you count 3 stories). It is truly special and really makes you appreciate what Florida USED to be like! There are about 14 restaurants on the island ranging from casual/outdoors to fairly high-end. Ask me or the office for details/reservations.
OWNER TIP
When you go to the Gulf beach, park at one of the three state beach parking lots at the South end of the island by South Beach Bar and Grill (one parking lot is directly adjacent on the south side). They have a great lunch menu with outdoor seating right on the beach and access to a nice indoor bathroom for beach goers. Don't miss their burger and grouper sandwiches, and make sure to get a rum punch from Freddie at the bar, tell him Matt sent you!
FISHING: There is great fishing on the property at the various beaches, sea walls, and bridges. If your are a fly fisherman, I fish the seawall and there are walkable flats with plenty of casting room on both the gulf and bay sides with tremendous fish variety including snook, tarpon, redfish, ladyfish, grouper, snapper, sea trout, sheepshead, and more. Rental boats for fishing and pleasure cruising (going for lunch on Bokeelia or Cabbage Key is great and easy to do even for novice boaters) are available through Boca Boats (1 mile from BG North). They also rent kayaks which is a great way to see the nooks and crannies by water as well as incredible wildlife. In town, Boca Grande Outfitters has clothing, equipment, advice, and can arrange local fishing guides for everything from ocean sport fishing to mangrove spin casting and flats fly fishing.
