Let me start by saying that first impressions are often lasting. That being said, Marie's first impression was stellar. She was personable, prompt, professional and friendly. From the transaction to check in everything was perfect. The property was clean and well maintained, and that's saying a lot because I am a germaphobe. When I experienced an issue on the property, the property managers promptly came out to take care of it. I also followed up with Marie, who responded promptly as well. The only negative was the gym on the resort, but hey, very few people go on vacation to work out and it wasn't a deal breaker. I look forward to staying there again.

Our stay with 6 adults and 2 children was more than expected. The pictures and descriptions were exact. There was ample room for everyone. Check-in and home access was easy. The pool area is a vacation within itself. I recommend spending some time there versus going to all the parks. Our vacation was too short, but definately memorable. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I have been here for three weeks and are booked for coming back to this home again next year. Our family truly loved this villa, the four bedrooms, and it's location to all the fun Orlando parks. My grandsons loved the lazy river and waterslide. They made friends everyday and played in the warm pools. My husband and I are in our mid-sixties and we also loved the lazy river and the waterslide. I can't say enough about Marie, the owner. She's easy to work with and so caring. Marie, you're the best...see you next year!!!!

Great four-bedroom home for a large family! Close to the pool (2 minute walk), and convenient to the disney parks, attractions and shopping! Marie is perfect to deal with, and made the experience easy! I have already recommended this property to family and friends. Thanks, Marie!

Our family of 5 had a great time at the condo! Worked out perfectly for us and would definitely consider staying there again. We especially liked how close it was to the pool. Great condo and resort! Marie was great to work with quick replies and everything we needed to know. Wish all vacations were that easy!

Wonderful Florida Vacation Spot

This villa is a wonderful family vacation spot! My husband & I stayed with our 2 kids (ages 13 & 11), and 4 in-laws, and had plenty of room. Oh, and our dog came too! Marie was a joy to work with! Loved the resort pool. Location is great. Hopefully we will get to come back for another stay! Highly recommend!

Home from Home Across the Water

My family and I (husband & two kids) recently travelled from Ireland over to Florida and spend two and a half wonderful weeks at Marie & Joes fab house in Regal Palms Resort. From the moment we arrived to the house everything was perfect, the place was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was kitted out with everything we could possibly need. The bedrooms were really nice and comfy with super cosy beds. We found the washing machine and dryer so handy. It was great having the TV in the living area and also in the bedrooms the kids were delighted with that. The Resort itself was also fantastic! the two swimming pools and the lazy river kept the kids entertained all day and the restaurant/bar was really nice for lunch or for a refreshing drink by the pool. We also found the resort's location excellent with Disney and Orlando very close just about 20 minutes drive away. We all had such a wonderful holiday and my only regret writting this review is that I'm not still there! We are really looking forward to returning to Marie & Joes house very soon.

Our family of 6 came to this location for a week of college baseball, beach time, and fine food. We found all three and rested on the most comfortable beds when we finally collapsed at the end of the day. We had arrived early and ate some scrumptious food in the lobby restaurant while final accommodations were prepped. Coming from 'rural america', we appreciated the sense of security the property provided. We BBQ'd on the back porch and lounged on the island of the lazy river(look for it, best location for isolated slumber)! We admired the gym/exercise room then remembered, "we're on VACATION", thus passed by. But appreciated what was offered: sauna, hot tub, and gym equipment. On-site managers were most helpful with any and all assistance. Publix grocery store was just up the street, walking distance. And the biggest 'bravo' goes to Marie. Her quick responses, adjustablility, and personal touch sold us! We certainly would pick this property again. We believe you will enjoy your experience as well!

Great Vacation Home!

We stayed at Joe & Marie's Regal Palms Vacation home the week of 6/2/12-6/9-12. First let me say that Marie was a delight to work with! She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and you could tell by her emails that she wanted to be a great hostess!
Everything was as promised as listed on VRBO. The rooms are as pictured and the beds are super comfy! Those mattresses are great!! It is about a 2 block walk to the pool area, which we loved!!
We filled every room with my family! We had my daughter and family there, including a 3-1/2 and 1 year old. Marie also has baby items in the closet - 2 strollers, a high chair and pack n plays! We did use the strollers a lot!
My 80 year old mom and her twin, along with her 2 "younger" sisters joined us for a few days and loved that lazy river. My mom even went down the slide!! Our 3-1/2 year old loved that slide, too. It is fast for a slide that size and we all had a blast at the pool area. We even chose to spend a couple of days there, resting and swimming.
Because I am local, I know a little more about the area than most do and also brought more extra items than most do! We did a lot of cooking to save on eating out w/ such a large group and so I brought my own pots. If you are cooking for a smaller group, there are sufficient pots and pans there.
We loved the convenience of the washer and dryer, too. Remember, these are "self-sufficient" units. Bring what you need to live daily - including extra toilet paper, detergent for washer.
Some tips - use the Walmart in Haines City rather than the one a little closer towards Claremont. It is less "touristy" and easier to shop in. Best restaurant in the area is Manny's, also in Haines City. The Pizza Place next to the Publix is really good. We tried the Fish and Chips place but didn't care so much for it.
Summer is the rainy season here, so expect afternoon thundershowers. We stopped at the Super Target (on 192) on the way to Disney and bought ponchos for $3 ($10 in Disney) as well as the Princess Dress for our Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Experience. That was $20 there but $70 in the Magic Kingdom. All of the Walmarts and Targets in this area have a Disney area where they sell Disney approved souvenirs and items.
I would not hesitate to recommend Marie's Condo to vacationers. You will love it!
