Great Apartment!! Incredible Beach!!Just returned and I loved it.

I just returned from "el isla del encanto" and I enjoyed every moment.
We went to Puerto Rico to celebrate a birthday in San Juan and then rented a car to travel the island.
Las Dunas beach apartment was wonderful.
My boyfriend and I stayed on the first floor in a great apartment that was super clean.
Tom, the owner, was very friendly and told us where to snorkel, eat and visit.
The beach will take your breathe away. It is perfection – secluded, clean, quiet, white sand and turquoise water.
We walked to the near by resort to have lunch and dinner on multiple occasions.
I have traveled throughout the Caribbean and Hobos Beach, Isabela – Aguadilla, PR is my favorite.
Tom suggested we visit the Puerto Rican mountain village of Adjuntas and stay at a beautiful private house Villa Mary.
We did and could not have been more pleased. I will write a separate review on Villa Mary.
The Dunas apartments are relaxing and low key. We spent most of our day at the beach and returned to take a shower and read a book.
I defiantly recommend!

Good Location for a Good Price

This was a great central location to all the local surf spots in the area, also close to the airport and supermarket. Tom (the owner) and Francisco were very helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the studio apartment on the first floor. The room was small but clean and had a little kitchen and small fridge that was good enough for us to cook many of our meals. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower as well. The bed was a bit hard but doable. The one downside to this room was that the internet did not actually work inside the room. We would recommend staying here to anyone on a budget and who wants to spend most of their time outside, enjoying beautiful Puerto Rico. We would definitely come back!

We stayed on the 2nd floor, 2 bedroom apartment, with a wrap around balcony, and a view of a very peaceful pasture with cows and a horse (and peak ocean view). There are windows everywhere (even in the shower!), that can be opened to let in those wonderful breezes. There's a flat screen HDTV with satellite, and fast wifi. The apartment is spotless- with stainless steel appliances, travertine floors and art on the walls. The beautiful beach is a very short walk down the street- turn right to reach "The Rock" at Jobos Beach, and left to reach Shack’s Beach. The manager, Francisco, goes way above the call of duty, and is very helpful in many ways. He made our 3 week stay so easy.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
