Return Visit To Paradise!
This was our second year staying in this condo. Again we were so very happy with the accommodations. Love the views and have a great time watching all the boats coming and going during the day. Planning our return visit!

Fantastic views
This is likely the best condo and deal on the island. The location is perfect, on the east end of the island away from the cruise ships of Charlotte Amalie but close to good food at Red Hook and docks for excursions off the island.
The kitchen is updated with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and fully stocked with spices & utensils for cooking. The condo is bilevel with a bedroom on the top floor and foldout sofabed on the first level. Beds were comfortable, linens high-quality and bathrooms were updated and spotless. The balconies are large with tables for morning breakfast and unbeatable views of the bay and St. John. Mary is a great host, keeping the condo stocked with beach towels, snorkel gear, wifi and getting access to the condo was seamless. She even pleasantly surprised us with a bottle of champagne outside the door to celebrate a birthday! Her personal touches to our vacation were appreciated and made us feel like home.
Having spoken to several others who rented in the area, we were convinced that Mary's condo is the best deal on the island! Our stay couldn't have been better and we will be recommending her to our friends and family who visit St. Thomas!

Absolute Paradise
I used to be a travelling nurse in St Thomas and this is my second year renting from Sapphire East End. I have to say that this place is a perfect gathering place. The kitchen is gourmet and has all the spices you need especially when you can get fresh fish from double header. We bought a slab of tuna for $30 and it was absolutely delicious. There are two floors that outlook directly to the ocean and you feel like your on a cruise ship or better yet your own ship. The breezes feel awesome!!!!
Very accessible to Redhook, British Virgin Islands and St John. Mary made sure evey detail was complete such a linen, beach towels and even snorkel gear which you can take to other beaches and use for your entire stay. Of course, we took the car ferry to St John and snorkeled maho bay, francis bay, hawk's nest, and cinnamon bay.......The best about this paradise place is I felt very comfortable, safe and secure but felt like I was home!! I hope to be able to enjoy this place every year.......

Owner's Response: Laura is one of my favorite guests so I am pleased that she returned to my condo for her annual, well-earned vacation. (Nurses work hard.) When my family was at Sapphire in January, we watched from our balcony for the Double Header to come back into the marina. At the dock, we purchased Mahi for the incredible price of $6 a pound, filleted at no charge. It was delicious - even better than the fish we had at some nice restaurants. This is the best tip I've gotten from a guest. So, thanks, Laura.

Absolutely Wonderful from Start to Finish
This was my second time renting from Mary, and I am absolutely amazed at how it just keeps getting better each time. The pictures are beautiful, but they don’t tell the whole story. The bottom line: Mary made sure that every single detail of our trip was perfectly arranged. I love the lists and suggestions she provided for our stay. The view was amazing, and everything we could possibly have wanted was right there waiting for us.
Building E is the best building at Sapphire! When the cruise ships arrived, Mary’s place was still quiet and unaffected by all the tourists. The view was also the best because it is right in front of the water, away from clutter and crowds of people.
Mary recommended our driver, Israel, and he was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. He was friendly, prompt, and very patient with our endless questions about the airport. In fact, we called on him to drive us during our entire vacation, and he always went above and beyond our expectations.
Mary’s managers, Kathlene and Gordon were fabulous! When we arrived, Kathlene checked on us to see if we needed anything. She also came mid-week and made sure everything was in top shape. On Saturday morning, we had an issue with the locks, and Gordon was there in 15 minutes. We were amazed at how fast he arrived. Plus, he and Kathlene are such friendly and professional people!
The condo is newly renovated and very clean. It has every amenity you could possibly need. But, the most important thing for me is having a high quality mattress. I am turning fifty this year, and I just can’t sleep the way I could when I was younger. If I don’t have a really good mattress, I will be just miserable. So, after a day filled with snorkeling and hiking, it was absolute joy to climb into a luxurious bed with a brand new, high quality, pillow-top mattress!
We also appreciate how Mary included beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkeling gear in our rental price. Chair rental is 7 dollars per chair each day, if it is not included. We felt so pampered in our chairs when other guests were sitting on their towels. Plus, it was really convenient to pack lightly because Mary had everything we might need already there waiting for us!
The internet was fast, and we really had fun posting our adventures on Facebook each night. We both feel so blessed to have found Mary and be given such a great experience!

Great condo great location
We just returned from a week in St Thomas. The condo is well appointed and in a great location right on a quiet part of Sapphire beach. The condo complex was quiet generally with a nice pool and good amenities and service at the main beach. It was a pity the pool side bar is closed and the complex is undergoing some renovations that will improve the tired look and feel it has in places. The condo itself had everything needed and lots of little extras. The owner Mary was very helpful and made sure we were all set for the trip and was just a phone call away for anything needed during our stay.
The people in St Thomas are so nice and really helpful wherever you go. On the island itself we would definitely recommend the ferry across to St John for a day trip or evening in Cruz Bay. Best Snorkeling we found was at Coki Bay near Coral World. Just watch out for the sand fleas - take bug spray and use it in the late afternoon / evenings. Charlotte is a nice day trip but be sure to avoid it when there are cruise ships in town. In Red Hook we had great food at Bambooz just by the Ferry Terminal. Duffy's is a good bar for cheap drinks and a lively atmosphere.
All in all we would highly recommend this condo for anyone staying in St Thomas.

Views to die for!
Picture perfect location with views of St. John and other smaller islands. We traveled to St. John for a day trip and took a boat excursion to the Tortola Batholiths and a few other islands--fabulous! We snorkeling many places but found the best place was right outside our condo.
Mary, the owner, was very helpful. We had a glitch just before we arrived with new management taking over. Mary handled it quickly and effortlessly. The new management was incredibly helpful with details on activities and tours around the island and other islands.

Owner's Response: The view can be almost overwhelmingly beautiful. I respond the same to it as this guest did no matter how many times I'm there. I was sorry to see my manager, Sam, move to the mainland, as were many of my scheduled guests who know him. Fortunately, he left a carefully selected, well trained staff to take over the condo management service.

The best condo in Saphire Beach
I have been using the Sapphire Beach Villas for the past 15 years. I have stayed in all the buildings. I guarantee condo E-308 is the best kept unit in the whole complex. Well mantained,in perfect cleanliness and perfect shape which includes all necessary things, tv, lap top,new kitchen,etc, in working order. Congratulation for having this rental property in such a good shape!!!!!
Owner's Response: This was my first experience with having guests who arrived by boat and docked at the Sapphire Beach Marina. I would have been nervous had I known about their 15 years of experience with it. I did know that they would enjoy the advantage of being able to watch the fireworks set off at St. John from our condo balcony on the 4th of July. The view over the water is spectacular.

Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I just returned from St. Thomas where we stayed at "Cheeseburger in Paradise". It was everything that was pictured and described. The accommodations were very nice and as pictured in the photos. The view from the balconies in the photos are accurate but so much more breathtaking and beautiful when you are actually sitting there. Best view on the island! As soon as I walked in the door, I was drawn immediately through the sliders out onto the balcony. Sapphire Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. I know this because we drove to several other beaches and always compared them to Sapphire Beach. As for the hospitality, it was second to none. Mary is a pleasure to deal with and it is so important to her that your stay is everything you hoped for. And it is! Sam and Gordon were so wonderful, seeing that we had everything we needed and even delivered a bottle of champagne, compliments of Mary, to celebrate our anniversary. We traveled all over the island and to other resort areas and on our next trip we will be back to stay at Mary's "Cheeseburger in Paradise". Can't wait to return! Thank you Mary, Charles and Gordon for a memorable vacation!

Beautiful Villa, Beautiful Beach, Beautiful Island - Wonderful Vacation
I was struck by the unique beauty of St. Thomas on arrival even though I had been there before. I rented a jeep and was pleased to find that my Garmin GPS worked there. Sapphire Beach Resort was easy to see from the road with its large sign and red-roofed buildings. Parking was available in front of E building and the digital entrance code worked fine.
The owner had shared a lot of information in advance and was prompt with answers to our numerous questions. Any concerns we might have had about renting from an individual owner were dispelled upon entrance. Photographs in the listing are accurate but limited. They cannot convey the actual beauty and calming influence of this environment. Both floors lead out to balconies the length of the four-panel glass "wall" and absolutely amazing views no matter which direction you look. One can see over the railing while seated at the bar height chairs on the lower balcony. The upper level balcony gets more sunshine and has two comfortable lounge chairs with small tables for cold drinks. Every detail seems to have been considered for ease of use and comfort.
This villa is attractive, spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is surprisingly well equipped and has plenty of counter space. It was so nice to work in that I actually found myself using the recipe book for the convection oven. The tray of assorted spices and various cooking supplies in the cabinet helped. I love the bedroom on the top floor with the vaulted ceiling in tropical wood. The king bed was wonderful and we woke up every morning rested and happy to be there. The computer set up on the desk is ready to use with the push of a button. We looked up various restaurants and attractions. This unit is furnished with everything we needed and more.
The resort has convenient activities on site with the marina, dive shop, swimming, and coral reef for snorkeling, but is also is in an excellent location relative to numerous off site activities and attractions. Being so close to Red Hook and the ferry dock is a major plus. We enjoyed a visit to Coral World, a
hike in the rain forest in St. John, shopping in Charlotte Amalie, dinner at Molly Malones, lunch at XO Bistro, etc., and just exploring the island. We are already planning a return visit and will definitely stay in E 308 on this gorgeous beach again.
I returned home with just one concerning residual - I had to remind myself to drive on the right!
