Villa Zara is a beautiful 4 bedroom in the heart of Seminyak! Guy has been an amazing host and has kindly helped us arrange our Scuba Diving (he also happens to be a dive master and led our dives!) and White Water Rafting trip! Will definitely recommend this Villa to everyone - the pool was our favourite hang out spot. Couldn't ask for a better Villa! Thanks Guy!

Our recent stay at this Villa was amazing. We found the villa to be peaceful and relaxing and the staff really made us welcome. We spent lazy days relaxing around the pool and when we did want to go out we found restaurants and shops close by and within easy walking distance. Guy the villa owner made sure we had everything we needed and even bought a new air cooler for the living area to make us more comfortable.
Thankyou to all concerned for making our holiday so special. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Zara to friends/family and will be looking forward to our next stay.

The description and pictures of this villa are a bit outdated. They appear to be taken when first purchased and do not accurately show the current state of the villa. We stayed at this villa for 6 nights and almost dailly had to contact the maintenance staff because the water would shut off sometimes mid-shower (all due to a faulty toilet that could easily be repaired, instead the owner has posted a sticker by the toilet to show how to prevent this problem). The bathroom mirrored doors were very heavy and hard to open, especially for children and by the last day, one door got stuck at midnight and the maintenance staff had to come to fix the door. The chemicals in the pool seemed off balanced and as a result turned the swimwear green. The drain cover in the middle of the pool kept coming off because of missing screws and this issue was never resolved the entire duration of our stay. This was a concern especially for the children staying at the villa. The location is ok if a 10 minute walk to the main road down a narrow alleyway is okay for you and your children.
Note that although there is AC in the villa, it is only in the bedrooms. We were asked numerous times to turn off the AC when we were not in the rooms and if we did not, the staff would turn it off, thereby leaving no retreat from the heat. There is no communal area (living room or dining) that is AC'd.
The owner was present, friendly and courteous. He offered a ride to the supermarket to pick up food and drinks and brought us to a painting store he recommended. There is no complaint about the owner or staff, the only disappointment is the location and the constant maintenance issues we had to call about daily that easily could have been resolved with minor fixes.

Our family (5 adults & 6 childrens) stayed at Zara Villa recently. The Villa is so awesome. Location was very good whereby it is very close to shops and restaurants.

Guy is fantastic. Upon our arrival, as we arrived late at night he met us with some snacks and drinks all stored up. He even took extra care and arranged for an extra single bed for us.

I must say this villa is perfect for families with kids. The children love the pool and we just love the outdoor lounge with cosy sofas. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Kadek, very pleasant girl as she cooked breakfast for us every morning and she even went shopping for our breakfast and arranged for a good massage.

Looking forward for our next holiday at Villa Zara.......

From the moment we booked and contacted Guy, he went above and beyond ensuring everything was perfect for us!


We are four close friends who were in Bali to attend the 10 year Bali Bombing anniversary. Villa Zara was a perfect retreat to come home to after a few emotional days.


The accommodation is so tranquil and as the villa is off the main road, you don't get any noise. It is a short walk to restaurants, shops and spas.


No need to actually leave if you don't want to, as Guy can organise everything to come to you! Our massage at the Villa was awesome!


The beautiful Kadek, went shopping for breakfast ingredients and cooked us whatever we wanted each morning. We left washing out each day and that afternoon it was delivered back beautifully clean and ironed.


The only negative is we couldn't bring the staff home with us to cook & clean at our houses!!!


Guy's hospitality made our stay so special during a busy stay. We asked and he delivered. He met us at the villa on arrival with cold bintangs and mixers for our drinks. It truly felt like you were not staying at his place, but he was visiting you at yours!


We only wish we had more time at Villa Zara and had spent many more hours floating around the incredible pool.


If you are a group of friends or a couple of families, Villa Zara is perfect for your Bali holiday.


We will hopefully be back...sooner than later!!

We highly recommend this villa. It was in a fantastic location with great amenities and so close to shops and restaurants. Along with that, the villa staff were awesome and very helpful.

Guy was a very good host, he was able to recommend trips and tours and offered to organise them for us if needed.

We’ve been to Bali on previous 7 occasions, staying in lots of different accommodation and this was definitely one of the best. We'll certainly be staying here on our next trip back to Bali.

Villa Asri is a secluded little paradise tucked away in the heart of chic, bustling Seminyak.

We stayed in one of the four villas which are all centered around a luxurious pool, exotic garden and canopied seating area. It’s perfect to hire out as a group of eight and makes for a wild party setting.

There’s plenty of privacy in each of the villas but the pool and outdoor living area is where all the fun happened — the living room is fitted with comfortable, oversized couches, a banging sound system and widescreen TV and DVD player.

We only had five days in Bali before an epic diving trip in Wakatobi but “wasted” an entire day at the villa because it was so beautiful.

It’s the perfect little suntrap during the day with high, white walls keeping it completely private.

The decor is exotic chic but still in keeping with tradition. There’s soft stone around the pool followed by soft grass, and around the outer edge of the garden there are stone carvings of Hindu Gods nestled in palms and exotic flowers.

There’s not a great deal of room in the kitchen but the fridge and cooker are easily big enough to cater for eight people.

Asri’s location is perfect — it’s far away enough from the main strip to be peaceful but we could easily walk to the main street in less than five minutes. There is also a small convenience store just a few buildings away.

Guy was the most helpful and friendly host we could have wished for – he sorted out our moped for us, told us the exciting stuff to do on the island and arranged for me to have a masseuse during our lazy day!

He put us in touch with a white water rafting company near Ubud and sent us off to the Temple in Uluwatu at sunset which was magical.

What’s more, the man loves his food and can tell you all the best spots to eat.

Asri really is a little sanctuary and because it is tucked down a windy little back street you could walk past and never know it even existed from the outside. I would absolutely love to go back one day.

Entering this place from the quiet side streets near Bali central gave an amazing first impression. Immaculately presented, open and fun layout, the design is world class.

I'd recommend this place for any mature group seeking to have a great time partying with a more responsible approach. Perfect for families and kids, the entertainment is centred around the pool and open outdoor lounge.

This easily sleeps 8 people or more, the gardener, cook and other services provided will leave you feeling welcomed and on holidays.
