My wife and I were very happy with our stay. Incredible ocean frontage and the water is 20 ft from your balcony. I had a cold for half my stay but could care less as I was where I felt I belonged, sitting and watching the waves. The sound of the tide coming and going is what I miss the most. Lots of privacy as it is solid block construction, but company available if you choose with garden apt visitors who are on the obsevation deck to see turtles and whales. The condo was nicely decorated and the bed was soft and comfortable. The ambiance brought me back to the way things were on the beach years ago! Can't wait to return.

Nothing prepared us for this delightful stay! This is simply THE ABSOLUTE BEST unit in the WHOLE place! We fell asleep every night to the soothing sound of crashing waves just off the front of our Maui home(for a few days anyway). Sunsets were nothing less than SPECTACULAR! We sipped wine and even made Frozen Strawberry Margaritas in the blender in the home as the sun went down! We saw sea turtles in the soft waves. Whales were spotted not too far off shore, all from the comfort of our comfortable chairs on the lanai. The kitchen was fully stocked. I love to cook and there was nothing we were lacking for sure~! We arrived to greet the cleaning staff, they were so friendly and welcomed us into a spotless Maui home away from home. The Master King Bed was magnificent. So comfortable and I could tell no expense was spared to make us comfortable sleeping there. PLenty of hangers for all of our clothing. We loved the beach towels, sand mats and beach chairs that were left for us to use. We took them everywhere with us! Our family had to pay for snorkeling gear..not us! We were delighted to see there were plenty of masks to choose from in the closet. Parking was a breeze. I liked having a designated spot. I met so many Maui natives, guests and a few very lucky full time residents that were just so so kind to us. We were invited to thanksgiving Dinner with the folks in building 7! How nice~!

I was thrilled with the reservation process and the checkout was even more simple. The owners stopped by and brought us chocolate macadamia treats. They had us at chocolate. They were lovely and welcomed us with open arms. I felt like a relative, they were so warm and kind.

The only thing I would recommend when you come to Maui...STAY LONGER!!! I truly did not want to leave. This space was the BEST place I have ever stayed on Maui. I have been coming every 2 years since 1986. Normally, I stay in a timeshare, but opted for something different and I'm glad we did!

Do not pass up an opportunity to stay here. Best Value, best location, great kitchen, wonderful owners, easy process, amazing sunsets, whales, turtles... You will not want to leave.

We could not agree more with the previous reviews. This unit at Maui Sands exceeded all expectations. The apartment was clean and well furnished and the beach accessories were an added bonus. We will never forget our morning coffees on the lanai and waking to the sound of the ocean.
The location was convenient for everything from groceries to exploring the island. We would not hesitate to book here on out next trip to Maui, and look forward to that day.

When I first booked I thought there might be something wrong with the place, as the size of the unit for the price just seemed like too good of a deal. Boy was I wrong!

The unit has a lanai that is COMPLETELY ocean front. It must be >30 ft long! The views in the evening and morning are just surreal. Within the first few mins of getting here I saw a turtle! The complex is very quiet, as you are north of the bustling tourist area. Many units are owner occupied and are extremely friendly. The unit has everything you need from beach towels to snorkel gear. I would highly recommend staying here.

We could not have been happier with this condo. It is spectacular and so close to the Ocean its like your a part of it. It is so clean and just the right colors for a soothing Vacation. We have told everybody we know to go to this Condo.

We loved our stay in Maui Sands 711; the property was wonderfully quiet, clean, & well taken care of, the ocean view couldn't have been better. The neighborhood offered good food, a farmers market, and a rental shop just across the street for practically any activity you desired. We are looking forward to our next trip, and hope we will be able to stay in this wonderful paradise again.
