This was a lovely vacation rental a stone's throw off the main block in Glen Ellen. This Moon House is so clean, it truly feels new. The finishings are of exceptional quality, right down to the linens. Plugged our iPod into the surround sound and had good music as we sat out on the upstairs deck and sipped wine at sunset. We walked to the Fig Cafe which is about 2 minutes walking. The great little grocery store is also right there, 2-3 min walk. The Regional park is pretty much in the backyard. Will be our place to stay in Glen Ellen for sure!

We loved staying at the Moon House, one of the rare places where the internet photos are not as good as the reality! The owners have provided tons of amenities, and everything from coffee to kitchen equipment to bath towels is top quality. Very cool sculptures by Bryan decorate the premises. Walking distance to some nice restaurants and a great walking trail, close to wineries. Thank you Terry and Bryan.

What a great home, very unique and comfortable. I love how the second story opens to the outside. Homeowners communicated well and make everything easy. I would stay here again any time.

The cottage itself is well equipped, clean and beautiful. It is perfect for a small family.

The location is great. Very close to a regional park (100 mts or so to the entrance) with many hiking trails, and also a mile to the Jack London park - also a great place to explore. We had a great time hiking in these two parks. Highly recommend it.

Terry was most gracious from the very start, making sure we understood the house was not really for younger children (e.g. toddlers), though it was perfect for us and our 6 year old...who got the biggest kick out of the spiral staircase and what he referred to as 'his office' on the mezzanine...where he would diligently work on puzzles.

The house is very well appointed and quite wonderful. You can find evidence of Bryan's work around the area, which makes it all the more special. There are some very nice details throughout, though my personal favorite was the very special 'stone' in the outdoor area.

Loved the oculus and the lighting for the domed area, the photos can't represent the efffects ~ very flexible and nice lighting.

We were there in very early spring and needed no air/heat in the day: just the smallest bit of heat for the night. The beds were great and the down comforters and pillows even better.

My husband and I spent a wonderful two nights at The Moon House. The house is conveniently located to wine tasting, a good grocery store, and nice restaurants. One of the restaurants, Olive & Vine, had live music, great food, and a pleasing wine list. Although the house is close to everything, it is quite peaceful and we enjoyed sleeping in two days in a row. We would definitely stay there again. It's a perfect getaway for couples!

I must say that our visit to Sonoma and our stay a The Moon House was incredible! Every detail was perfect and Terry was so incredibly accommodating. The house is an architectural master piece; The space is used so wisely it made me want to come home and re-do ours. Terry made herself incredibly available for anything we may have needed. She was so thoughtful and considerate. I left a pair of jeans in the house. I didn't even know I had done so, but after our flight home I already had an email from her stating that they were already in the mail :) The house was spotless clean and had all of the amenities we needed and more. The physical location is perfect for visiting both Sonoma and Napa Valley. It is a place we very much look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you for everything Terry!

My wife and I just got back from an amazing weekend in Glen Ellen, and we are so happy that we found the perfect place to stay. The home is better than can be shown in the pictures. For techies, like myself, this house had a Harmony remote, in wall speakers, a blu-ray player that played movies we brought along on our thumb drive. Kitchen has everything you need. Bedroom is warm and the bed if very comfortable. Sheets and towels are top quality.

The best part of this house might be the location. We walked to Glen Ellen Village Market, and had dinner at the Glen Ellen Inn and the Glen Ellen Star. All are amazing and within blocks of the home. Benziger winery is only 1 mile away, and we road our bikes there.

We will definitely be coming back and staying here again. Terry, the owner, is very responsive and added all the great touches that make you want to keep coming back.
