Family, tranquil mountainside, wine on the deck. mmmmmm. Perfect sanctuary from which to launch excursions into Asheville and return to relax away from the busyness of everyday life.
I could really not find a fault in the house. Loved the galley kitchen-well designed, utilitarian space. Bedrooms are lovely, spacious and since each has its own en-suite, provided excellent privacy. Common area very comfy.
Though our entire transaction was completed via email/Internet, the owner was prompt and friendly with every request.
I highly recommend!

Beautiful mountain home with wonderful views in early spring (no leaves!). Quiet. Peaceful. Our girls are used to a tv in every bedrm - no complaints! We watched tv together or people read. Only conflict was 1 of the 3 bedrooms does not have a deck so they fought over who got the one with the deck! Beautifully decorated. An adventure going up & down the mountain - not for the lighthearted - or someone like me driving who is afraid of heights. My (new jersey born) husband enjoyed the challenge after years in flat Indiana! great grocery nearby that isn't a "tourist" trap but the regular town grocery. Convenient to tourist sites.... We covered the Biltmore, Chimney Rock, Grove Park Inn and downtown Asheville in our 2.5 dys. Ate breakfast & dinner in; Kim loved the waffles & Rich used the grille. Might bring sarah/foil with you in case of leftovers!

We stayed with another couple for a fun weekend getaway and were delightfully pleased with the condition of the cabin, not to mention the views from the ALL of the balconies. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone headed to Asheville in the future. Thanks for the great weekend!

The house is gorgeous, the view is very pretty, and it is quiet and relaxing. I also like how close the house is to downtown Asheville as well as hiking. It was a perfect weekend getaway!

Magnificent is certainly the word to describe this incredible mountaintop home. The views are spectacular! Nestled into a heavily wooded mountaintop, this home was a perfect getaway for our adult family.
Unique to this home is the three very private bedroom/bath suites - two with incredible decks - providing our group of 3 couples exactly the privacy and togetherness we wanted. After a day of hiking and exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and Smoky Mountains, the home was truly a haven. The kitchen had everything a chef would need including double ovens, huge refrigerator and freezer, granite countertops, etc. The great room featured a gas burning fireplace and walk-out 2nd floor deck where we relaxed atop the trees and listened to the calls of the wild. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular!! We could not have asked for anything else. Our stay was from October 3-8, 2012.

We (from California) and good friends from the East Coast met up for 4 beautiful days in the Ashville area. The house was perfect for us and could easily accomodate a third couple. It is new and beautifully maintained. Beds were very comfortable...kitchen a dream!
Only suggestion would be to alert folks to get a 4 wheel drive to get up the last mile in the initial online description of the house. We had already rented a car through Price Line and could not change to a 4 wheel drive after learning of the steep and unpaved hill up to the property when directions were sent. Because we did not have appropriate cars, we chose, after having difficulty the first night navigating it in the dark, to bring our dinner back to the house. We loved the sunsets and beautiful fall views and were happy to settle in for the evening at the housel So...would definitely recommend the home and would definitely recommend having a four wheel drive to get to it. It was quite an adventure reaching it!! Loved driving the Blueridge Parkway and seeing the Biltmore House.

This is a secluded mountain view property. My husband and I stayed there and felt that it was very comfortable. The house was clean and had gorgeous mountain views. It's located closed enough to Asheville for all the activities, but far enough away to "unplug". We also really enjoyed Okie Dokie's BBQ in nearby Swannanoa (owners recommendation).

Great house, great view, great area and great friends. What's not to like?
