The house was nicer than the pictures. It had absolutely everything you could want. The house was very clean and obviously very well maintained. The Beach Club amenities were an added plus. We would unconditionally recommend this property.

The Pointe West Beach was wonderful. It felt like we had a private beach all to ourselves. Timo's cottage was perfect, and my 75 year old mother was able to walk the short distance to the beach and enjoy her grandchildren. This was our second Spring Break at a Pointe West cottage and I'm sure we will be back for more.

We stayed at Timo's place in Point West on Galveston Island and it was truly wonderful. His home was clean and inviting, and in one of the nicest (if not the nicest) areas of the Island. You walk across the street and you are just a few steps from the boardwalk that takes you to the beach. You can see the ocean from all the bedroom windows, and from the deck. The club house has a gym, a very nice pool, and is within walking distance. There is a grocery store just a few miles away called seven seas, and they will have everything you will ever need for your stay if you do not want to go into town, or you can drive into town (about 20-25 minutes drive). The kitchen has everything you need, just bring your food! You can stay on the beach or find many things to do in town (going to the strand that has all kinds of shops and dining, and there are many things to do and see along the sea wall. We found several nice sea shells, and had a very relaxing and fun time. Timo is very organized, and was always available if we needed anything. He even called us the day we got there to see that we made it safe! I highly recommend staying at Timo's place. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

The size was perfect for a small group. The kitchen was updated and easy to work in. Although no beach view, it really was just steps from the boardwalk. The HOA does a great job of maintaining the beach and it was very clean. We booked at the last minute and the owner was timely in answering all of our questions and getting back in touch in a timely manner.

This property is on the far end of the island, which is not conducive for visitors that want to get out and shop and dine. It's about a twenty minute drive into Galveston. On the flip side, for those looking for a quiet beach vacation this place is perfect, and that is what we wanted.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness. The master bath has dirty walls and most of the kitchen ware appeared to have just been rinsed off versus clean. This could be because there is no soap or kitchen towels provided. The notes did say to bring soap, but not towels however. The other baffling question was the lack of toilet paper. I assumed that would have been included in the housekeeping package.

Overall, it was a quiet, charming place perfect for playing on the beach. While we drove by the amenities center, we did not actually utilize it. We were having too much on the clean beach!

We stayed at this home with 2 families and it was the perfect size with 3 spacious bedrooms. The balcony is great and overall the home was very nicely decorated throughout in a subtle coastal theme. We enjoyed our stay and the short walk to the amazing, empty, private beach.

Thanks Timo. We had a great, relaxing weekend. Didn't realize how nice it was that far down the island. We'll be back.

We had a great experience at this wonderful beach house. The location was great just a few steps away from the beach walk over. The beaches were very clean and expansive. The water was warm. The house was clean and very well maintained and we found the owner to be very responsive. I loved sitting on the back porch reading and watching spectacular sunsets in the evenings. This is a very laid back quiet beach experience which I absolutely craved. It is a totally different experience from going to Galveston. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and neigbors!
