This spacious mountain home has three distinct living zones which makes this the perfect vacation rental. On the first floor you’ll find the fully equipped laundry facility as well as the recreation room with a television, DVD player and a Wii system. This is also the zone with the “slumber party space”; you’ll find bunk beds, a full bed and even a futon. Located on the second floor are the kitchen, dining area, living room and library which follow an open floor plan, making this floor perfect for socializing. You can savor an amazing high mountain sunrise while sitting on the deck off of the living room. While waiting for the kitchen timer to ring, you can enjoy the mountain air on a second deck. This is also where you’ll find the gas grill. A second entertainment system is located on this floor. If vacation means getting away from it all then make certain you get the chance to use the Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom suite on the third floor. The tub is backed by floor to ceiling windows that look over cross country ski trails and provide unobstructed views of Castle Peak. While it isn’t a suite, the second bedroom, is actually larger than the master and has a fold out queen bed. Like the master suite, this room also has a gas fireplace. There is a third bedroom on this floor with a queen bed.
The house does have an occupied attached apartment. The tenant of the apartment may be parked in the driveway when you arrive. The door leading to the house has a keyless entry with a code that is changed with each rental.

We recently became grandparents and are looking forward to sharing our love of the outdoors and outdoor sports with all of our family.
Both of us grew up in Santa Rosa and spent many winter vacations skiing in Tahoe. After looking at homes in other locations/states, we knew that the place we wanted to buy had to be in the Tahoe area. One of the things we love the most about this house is it's so traquil but we can easily drive to major ski areas, Truckee, Lake Tahoe or even Reno, that is if we even want to leave the house.
Amazing views form almost every window.
Places to curl up with a cup of coffee and a great book. You'll even find some in our take one/leave one library.
Easy access to Interstate 80 and easy to find, even late at night.
