A Wonderful Place to Stay
I was part of a group of nine people who stayed together for a long weekend. We were all looking to step back from our busy lives for a few days. Instead of staying in a motel, we decided to look into this cabin, and we are glad we did. It is very clean and spacious. We were able to cook our own meals in the kitchen and grill out on the deck too. It was really refreshing to sit outside in the hot tub, smell the fresh air and just relax. It was convenient to be able to go hiking and four wheeling on trails nearby. When we were tired we could crawl into bed and not be woken up by loud noises outside. I think it would also be a perfect place to stay in the winter when hitting up the slopes of Terry Peak.

Excellent Getaway!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. The owners are very nice, easy to get a hold of and extremely personable. We had questions about activities in the area. They gave us some fun ideas for the better tourist activities and dining restaurants.
Our group brought ATV's. There were beautiful trails to ride on - a little rocky but suitable for the more adventurous.
The parking was great! We were able to accommodate our large party of vehicles. The driveway was flat. There is also two stall garage to keep a few of our vehicles in.
The cabin was clean with new beds, bedding, and furniture. There were plenty of dishes, pots/pans, and dishes for cooking for our large group. The lower level offers a small game room with a pool table, ping pong table, beautiful fireplace and a DVD player (with a variety of DVD's to watch). The main level also boasted a floor to ceiling fireplace, large dining table, and a large master bedroom/bath.
We were never left without something to keep us busy. The cabin had decks of cards and board games. We also enjoyed ourselves in the hot tub. If it were summer, we could have brought lawn games to play in the back yard - there was a large level yard to play ladder ball or bean bag toss.
This was a great cabin - close to Terry Peak (within walking distance).

Beautiful home in the Black Hills
There were 8 adults staying in this beautiful home in the hills. We found the home to be extremely clean, well furnished & supplied. The beds were very comfortable & the view outstanding. We spent all of our days out sightseeing but after coming home at the end of the day we could relax & enjoy the home. We would definately return in the future. We also found the owner to be extemely kind & helpful in getting the arrangements all set up.

Labor Day Weekend Stay
We had a great time! Loved all the space! It did get hot in the dining room though. Maybe some blinds for those windows would help with the sun. It was quite sunny while trying to eat at the table. Overall though it was wonderful!

Great Reunion Location for 12
This cabin served as the perfect location for some friends to get together. Five couples and a few singles stayed comfortable for the entire weekend, never feeling cramped or crowded. Clean and well maintained across the board. Everything was exactly as described and the owner was very helpful with our pre trip questions. Highly recommended for large groups or families. The hot tub is a big plus also.

Perfect rental home for our family!
This home was well-built, inviting, clean, comfortable and spacious. The woodwork was beautiful. Our family of 14 (my husband and I, our children and grandchildren) could enjoy time together without ever feeling crowded. The kids could play together or go off to different parts of the house. We did quite a bit of our own cooking and baking, and we enjoyed eating together around the big dining room table. There are some wonderful restaurants in the area, but with the children it was more fun and relaxing to eat at the house much of the time. We found good grocery stores in Spearfish and in Lead. We liked being in the northern part of the Black Hills, because the trees and grass were all green and lush. We found so much to do in the area that we would have stayed another week if we had been free to do so.
