If you want to relax and enjoy have a view of the ocean, this is a great place! We enjoyed the ocean breezes and the quiet when we stayed. It is not far from the highway to go and see the sights. Accommodations were nice. We had a kitchen stocked with items to cook if we wanted to; satellite tv, pc w/ internet access, binoculars, washer & dryer, nice décor, grill, patio furniture, pool, hot tub, and a comfortable bed. Great place for the price! I would recommend this place when visiting the Big Island. We enjoyed going to the Green Sands Beach at South Point, Volcano National Park, Volcano Winery, Hilo, Akaka Falls & Rainbow Falls.

Round 2 in the condo and enjoyed it just as much as the 1st. Love the new patio set on the Lanai and we actually utilized the BBQ area this year A LOT! Hanging down by the pool and BBQ’ing at the end of the day was awesome! Lake and Kim are awesome to work with and very accommodating. Now that I feel I have the Island down I left my “The Big Island Revealed” Book on the bookshelf for your other guests to utilize as well. Thanks again for a great stay, Mahalo.

I loved this little condo! It was nice to be on the end of the complex and have the morning sun on the lanai. The bed was quite comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the general feel of the place was spacious yet homey.
My neighbors were friendly and Mark, the manager, was a very amiable person.
Also, it was a pleasure doing business with Lake, he was always very prompt in his responses and obviously wants anyone that is staying here to have the most enjoyable trip possible.
I hope I get another opportunity to rent this condo again!

My wife and I stayed at Lake and Kim's condo as part of our Hawaiin vacation. Big Island was a lot of fun. We got to the condo and found a condo that was a bit spartan but comfortable and met our needs. Lake did everything in his power for us to have a nice stay. When you look at the prices you pay to stay here, this is a value and the central location in Kona is ideal. Close to the things in town but far enough away to not hear the traffic.

Exactly as shown and described! Condo is no frills, but very clean and comfortable. Great location - easy walk to town restaurants and bars so no one has to be the designated driver! Great pool that we used a few times during our stay. We used the condo as our home base during our entire 7 night stay on the Big Island during our recent honeymoon! Lake was amazing to deal with - making the booking process easy and our arrival and access to the condo exactly as described. Having talked to some locals during our stay, this condo seems to be the best deal on the Island!

Perfect for no fuss travelers looking for value and location over luxury.

We had a wonderful stay in Kona. I only suggest that Lake purchase a box spring and mattress for the bed. We did like others and slept on the futon mattress. Everything was fully stock plus extras. I hate that we was not able to ride the bikes, we oh so needed it.The place was quiet, clean and well maintained. Thank you so much we will be returning soon. Hopefully their will be a new box spring and mattress. I would recommend everyone to rent from Lake.

We enjoyed staying here. It is situated in low distance to the main Kona beach area and small harbor.

The condo is fully equiped, TV, internet... A few things could need a renewal (handle/knobs in the bathroom). If you seek luxury and chichi you won't get it but you get a solid condo to stay at with your family at a reasonable price.

This place is exactly at it appeared in advertisement. It fit all of our needs 100% and then some. Is it a 5 star resort? No, but both Lake and Kim were very honest about the property and what it entailed. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to both cook in and BBQ. We loved bbq’ing and taking a dip in the pool after a long day exploring each night. We never had a chance to have an actual “pool day”, but it was very clean and the view is breath taking. I was a little nervous never seeing the grounds in person before booking at first, but after the 1st night I found everyone around us in the complex nice, helpful and they do keep up the property very well. My husband even commented how there wasn’t even oil stains from cars on the ground (of course he would notice that). We thought being from California and it being so humid our first night that we wouldn’t be able to pull it off without the air conditioning, but opening up the windows and locking the front screen circulated the ocean breeze worked out fine and we never felt we needed it again. Overall the place was clean and roomy for a studio, it was an awesome experience overall to deal with Lake & Kim. We will be returning in Dec and staying with them again. Mahalo Lake & Kim, we had a blast and felt right at home.
