3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6)

Our oceanfront condo is located in Keauhou, five miles south of downtown Kailua on the magnificent Ali'i Drive. The Keauhou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club is a beautiful condominium complex situated on 16 acres of impeccably landscaped grounds, and boasts a large pool, three professional tennis courts, covered pavilions, a volleyball court, and outdoor barbecue areas.

We are within walking distance of a shopping center with a good grocery store, restaurants and movie theaters. We are also a 10-minute walk from Kahalu'u State Beach, the best snorkel beach on the Big Island. Two beautiful golf courses, at the Kona Country Club, are literally in our back yard. We are a two-and-a-half hour drive from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Our condo contains three bedrooms, two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lanai to die for. Facing due west, the lanai is the perfect place to view breath-taking sunsets. A table for six makes outdoor dining a pleasure.

We are on the third floor of a three-floor building (no elevator), with soaring cathedral ceilings that give the unit a light-filled airy feeling.

The master bedroom contains a king-sized bed and is right off the lanai, so you can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves lapping at the rocks only 30 feet away. The second bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and faces the golf course. The third bedroom is a loft space that is furnished with two twin beds, a separate closet, and a peaceful reading nook.

There are two recently refurbished bathrooms downstairs, both equipped with showers. The unit includes a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and towels, a washer and dryer, beach chairs and mats, boogie boards and other beach toys, a nice stereo, cable TV, high-speed wireless internet, VCR and DVD player. We've also provided a small library and a complete assortment of games and puzzles.

This beautiful condo is our second home, and we think you'll see the loving attention we have given it. We're sure you'll enjoy sharing our island paradise. No pets or smoking please.

Awesome with one small issue

The Condo was very nice, well stocked with the necessary items. Overall it was a fabulous choice, the beds were very comfortable.The pictures don't lie - the water is right out the window. If you're a light sleeper or not used to listening to the ocean the waves might keep you up - what a problem to have, easily resolved by closing down some of the doors. My only complaint is not with the condo itself but the condo association that has a "family pool" that doesn't allow kids to play with any toys, floatation devices or even and I quote "no marco polo". There is an adult pool separate from this pool - I never even looked for it. Just maybe not the best choice for young kids that love being kids in a pool. It does take about 10-15 minutes to drive into Kona itself. The beach is not far at all.

You must do the Manta snorkel/dive - was just as awesome snorkeling as diving.
Highly recommend BIEA zipline - better for older adults and not as technical as the other one in Kohala - but do one of them.
If you opt to do the helicopter tour - go with Paradise out of Hilo (everyone gets a window seat with them and choose the "no" door option. Just make sure the weather is decent other wise its a waste of time. Snorkeling at Kaaula Beach is better than anywhere else. Close second is Place of Refuge and Cooks monument.

Overall wonderful place and I'd highly recommend it.

Just the Best

If the best is what you want and expect, this is it. I've stayed here several times and can't wait to come back again this October. This is a very relaxing home with great views and every amenity. The pool is sparkling, the nearby beach is the best snorkeling on the Island (even turtles), and the ocean waves 30 feet away are mesmerizing. I love the tropical decor, the spotless, well stocked kitchen and the quiet location. I'll come again and again. Thanks.

We were extremely pleased with the condo. It was well equiped with books, games, beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, tv's in every room, lovely funiture on the lanai. We would most definitely recommend this codo.

Breathtaking view

Breathtaking view- it was hard to leave the gorgeous lanai! This is the best equipped condo we have ever stayed in- beach, pool and snorkel gear for the entire family, baby gate, laundry and kitchen supplies- down to the plastic baggies. We have every intention of returning to this beautiful spot.
