Beautiful & Contemporary Home with Pool in sought after Sandy Springs/Atlanta sits atop a private, wooded estate that provides a tranquil retreat, just 15 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. This is a 3 level home with 2 levels of open floor plans that are perfect for lounging and entertaining.

This 5,000 sq. Ft. home has 5 bedrooms and 4 & ½ baths that easily sleeps 10. The home also has 2 queen convertible sofas that can sleep 2-4 additional guests, depending on your needs.

The main level of this home features an open floor plan with the kitchen opening to the family room and living room beyond. This level also has a formal dining room, sun room, ½ bath, laundry, master bedroom and master bath. The lower Mezzanine level also features another open floor plan with a living area, tv/entertainment area and wet bar that all look out to the pool, which is just a few steps away outside the patio doors. This level also houses a full bathroom and bedroom. The upper level of the home features 3 large guest bedrooms and 2 full baths. In addition to the pool and patio area on the mezzanine level, there is also a large deck off of the kitchen and a little garden oasis off of the formal dining room and sunroom that looks down onto the pool area below. The top of this private drive brings you to the 2 car garage, which accesses the home through the kitchen. In addition to the garage, there are two parking pad areas that can accommodate 2-3 cars each. Please note that when we purchased this home in 2005 we had an alarm/surveillance system installed for protection mainly for when we traveled so we could monitor the home remotely. Only the alarm system can be activated by guests. The cameras are inactive and we do not have access to view them since the dvr has been removed.

The masterbedroom has a king size bed. All other beds in the home, including the pull out sleeper sofas are queen sized.

This home is located in the Riverside community area of Sandy Springs which has long been recognized as one of Atlanta’s more affluent areas known for it’s large estate homes along the Chattahoochee River, just off of Riverside Drive.

This area offers many options for dining, shopping, groceries, bars and entertainment within a very short distance.

Minutes to 1-285, 1-75 & GA 400. Just 20 minutes north of downtown Atlanta (a great place for business or to take in some culture at the Fox Theatre or High Museum), 10-15 minutes drive to Buckhead (which features some of the best dining and retail shopping options in our city; Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall), 30 minutes to Zoo Atlanta, 40 minutes to Six Flags and 45 minutes to Lake Lanier (a great place to spend the day at the lake or water parks!) and a hour or so drive will get you into the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

The house is very spacious, and great for large group of people. The kitchen is amazing, spacious and very modern. The master bedroom is huge, and the bathroom and walk in closet are to die for. The owner was very flexible and available for all of our needs, It is located in a wonderful area, and not too far from Atlanta. I would recommend this house to anyone.

This home is beautiful and spacious. I loved the kitchen, and the master bedroom. It is located in a nice area, and not far from Atlanta. The house is big enough for large groups. The owner was nice and flexible. The pool is huge and, there are grills next to pool area to have a barbeque. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Great time in Sandy Springs

We were in town for the Final Four and used the house as our base camp. The house is centrally located in Atlanta and we could get almost anywhere in 30 minutes. It worked extremely well for us, we enjoyed being able to cookout and socialize in one place. The kitchen is large with very nice appliances and amenities. The only thing that prevented me from giving an excellent rating was the hot water in the basement shower wasn't working and a small leak in the powder room. We let the owner know and he addressed it immediately. Great place and would recommend staying here!

Nice venue but could use updating

The house was a little of a disappointment. The heat nor water heater in the down stairs were working. Looked to be a water leak in the downstairs as well. Was no cable or sat tv. Overall house was roomy and fit our party.
Owner's Response: Unfortunately, we were not notified of any problems during their stay. We take pride in quick response and fixing any issues at hand immediately to ensure our valued renters are comfortable and taken care of. We always ensure this home is extremely clean and spotless before a group checks in. It is however a VERY large home with 3 stories and sometimes things might be missed as far as repairs. If this is the case, it is crucuail to notify us quickly so we can send our maintenance crew out in a timely manner. Furthemore, we are subscribed to Dishnetwork and all 3 tv's in the home are connected to this service. It is possible that the renters did not know how to operate the cable. Last but not last, there are 3 hvac units in this home, however in the Winter months, the lower finshed basement takes a little longer to warm up which is normally the case in large homes. We always appreciate feedback from each renter and hope to continue to improve our home for maximum enjoyment for each group that stays in our home. We appreciate each opportunity given.

My stay at this Home was Absolutely AWESOME. My stay was from Friday through Sunday in the Month of January and as soon as I walked in the house I was filled with amazement and excitement.
The listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities.

Every single room was amazing, especially the KITCHEN. I have all kitchenaid in my home, so I loved that he had the same. I could cook in that kitchen for days ! Every bedroom was beautiful, especially the Master bedroom. Each room was also very spacious, with Huge Beds. And the Beds were SO comfortable. I loved the huge closet in the Master and the Bathroom was to die for. The shower was so big you could fit almost 4 people in it?. This house is extremely peaceful and it had so much open space. You can easily find a quiet space whenever you needed to get away from everyone else.
I loved the entertainment room downstairs and the wall in speakers were my favorite.
The pool was very cool as well, its January so we could only enjoy the beauty of it.

All restaurants and activities are close by, very Upscale Area:
Perimeter Mall, The Fresh Market, Publix, Super Target, Walmart – All less than 10 minutes away

The Owner was available any time that I needed him. He was very quick with my needs and his customer service was A+
We didn’t have any issues during this stay. I am very pleased. I could continue all day with how Excellent my experience was.
I would definitely like to recommend this home to all future customers. My guests are planning to reserve this home in the future as well.

Good for large groups

We had a large family reunion and this house was large enough to accomodate everyone comfortably. There were a few mechanical problems, like leaky plumbing in the powder room on the main level, and a few cosmetic details that were broken. The house has several rooms that comfortably seats large groups and the kitchen is pretty nice (though the equipment such as the pots and pans and knives were sub par). Overall, the house is a bit dated and seemed a little dusty and unkempt. Its a large, private house that can accomodate large families or groups traveling together, that has a great location.

Beautiful, spacious home; wonderful stay

My out-of-town family of 8 and I rented this beautiful home to host a surprise party for my Mom's 60th birthday. It was the perfect home for this event. The owner was easy to work with and hospitable, and the house is gorgeous. Perfect setting in Sandy Springs, close enough to everything, but secluded enough to be serene and peaceful. The house has an open floor plan on the bottom and main floors, which was ideal for a family gathering. The kitchen is huge, open & totally updated. We cooked and ate dinner as a family every night during our stay. We will definitely stay here again should we need to rent a large home again in the future!

Is the best place to live in Atlanta. I really enjoyed the peacefull and quite atmostphere. Great surrounding area. We enjoyed the pool the bar and the entertainment system and the sunroom and the beds are very comfortable. I really recommend this place to have lots of fun.

It could not have been better

I have rented thru VRBO 5 times now and this was one of my favorites. The home was better than the description and pictures. So much room it never seemed crowded. We had a blast. The bedrooms were spacious and the pool area was terrific. I loved how secluded you felt, but only 5 miles to major shopping, and site seeing. We could not asked for better. Thank you
