The Seahorse Guest Cottage sits on a quiet street within walking distance to the Chesapeake Bay and the North Beach town boardwalk, beach and pier. Additionally located within easy walking distance are several restaurants and quaint shops. A marina with boat launch, a waterpark, and a shopping center are within one mile of the cottage. There are close-by opportunities for charter fishing, kayaking, hiking, fossil hunting, bicycling, and bird watching. A weekday commuter bus provides service into Washington, and a seasonal trolley bus runs through town from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend (rides are 25 cents). The Seahorse Guest Cottage is dog-friendly. The cottage is an ideal and inspirational place for artists, musicians, and writers, with a separate north light studio located behind the cottage.
