Our Honeymoon Dream House

The most beautiful honeymoon ever!!
Marys house is so quaint and tranquil, and she is just lovely!
The architecture is amazing especially the front doors, the decor rustic yet modern as it should be in big sur..all the amenities two would need.
The yurt and the outdoor bathroom where my favorite..the full moon shining through the top of the yurt was amazing and bright. The glass walls in the very private bathroom are awesome while taking a shower. The kitchen had everything you need if you were eating in,the grocery store was a beautiful drive to carmel only 20 minutes away,Mary had some lovely suggestions for eating out, she knows her stuff as she has been a resident for many many years.

I can not say enough about this place, and it made our honeymoon perfect!
the only suggestion to Mary is flannel sheets in winter :) it is cold at night.
Hopefully we will be back to celebrate our 1st anniversary!

Mary's Big Sur Dream home was just that...a dream! We had such a beautiful and relaxing weekend. It's clear that a lot of love went into that house and I can't wait to come back for another visit!

Amazing Get-Away

My wife and I decided to get away from the city for a few days. We found this listing and were unsure about what we would find once we arrived. Like a lot of people, we've had past experiences ordering things online that turned out to be nothing like what we were expecting and were completely unsatisfied. This Big Sur Dream Home was also like nothing we were expecting, it was soooo much better! The owner (Mary) was great. She added a nice touch to the place so that it had a very homie/cozy feeling. The house & fancy yurt were like nothing I've ever experienced. The architecture of the loft was great and it had a 360 degree view with absolute silence (just what we needed). It was so private we were able to skinny dip in the hot tub without a care in the world. At dusk we enjoyed the beautiful outdoor fireplace. This place is well worth the price. This place will definitely be a future vacation spot for us. Thanks Mary!

beautiful setting for two who enjoy the outdoors but need a few simple pleasures... Nice bed, kitchen with small frig, TV, wireless, and indoor plumbing. Only negative, no place to hang cloths.
