I am semi-retired from the commercial real estate business and my wife recently retired as a school counselor with the Beaufort Co. School System. We look forward to spending more time on the river, enjoying more time with family and friends and our two grandchildren.
I was born and raised in Beaufort County, North Carolina. I returned to the area to be near my aging parents and to enjoy a slower paced lifestyle, focusing on what I value the most. After returning to the area, I remarried in 2005. My wife and I now split our time between our two homes. The cabin is not just a rental, but our second home.
When staying at this property, my wife and I enjoy relaxing and entertaining family and friends by the pool. We also love kayaking and boating. However, our favorite thing to do is enjoy our morning coffee in the porch rockers or in the sunroom overlooking the pool and Bath Creek. At the day's end, the sunsets are spectacular whether viewed from the boathouse deck, the porches, pool decks or sunroom.
