Quaint and perfect

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for and the pictures depict exactly what you are getting. Small, quaint guest house that is close to the beach, quiet, very clean, safe, and comfortable.
Being in Leeward, the area was very quiet and close to a beautiful section of beach which was not overcrowded like the stretch along Grace Bay. Though when we wanted to find a little more excitement, it was only a 15 minute bike ride (bike on the sidewalks!) for us to head to the main Grace Bay area where the action was. If you have a car, it's no more than 5 minutes there. We walked a few times too (along the beach and the road). David also offered to take us in many times during our stay for groceries, etc if we wanted.
If chartering diving or other things through Big Blue, it's only a 5 minute bike ride to the Leeward Marina. For the ferries, it's just over 10 minutes to bike to where they come in.
Our days were busy on the beach and doing activities such as diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and cycling. Caught the ferry to North Provo and cycled around there as well. The beach along Leeward and Grace Bay is very long. One can swim and walk for hours on the velvety soft sand from Leeward Marina all the way to Turtle Cove uninterrupted!
David made some great suggestions on things to do/see and who to talk to, plus he's very knowledgeable on anything you want to know about the island and area.
Our Fav Food - Da Conch Shack, Pizza Pizza, Jamaican Patties, Fresh Bakery, Yoshis, Grille Rouge, Seaside Cafe, Barracuda (North Caicos), IGA gourmet grocery.
A big treat for me was the screened in deck on the back of the guest house in the brush. Any meals we made at the guest house, we ate out there. Very peaceful and really adds to the quality of the stay there as it's quiet, private and feels separate from the house (I couldn't hear anything my fiance was doing inside while I was out there). I spent many warm, relaxing evenings on that deck reading and watching the resident geckos chase bugs around the screen (they were on the outside of course!). I left two books there for the next guests to read - Treasure Island: such a fun, classic book that is a must when in the Caribbean! and - Born to Run: an excellent read on American ultra runners and the Mexican Taramuhara tribe runners.
We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. David and Amanda are excellent hosts that made us feel welcome and at home.
