Wonderful Stay

My husband and I stayed here for 6 glorious weeks. The owners Ken and Lori were very good to deal with and answered all our questions quickly. We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is clean and very well equipped. The pictures are accurate except they have upgraded the pool and hot tub surround to lovely stone so the green artificial turf is gone. It is very centrally located. It is quite windy so a/c was not needed. We just opened the windows for a lovely breeze. There is a ceiling fan in the living room and bedroom. The views from the lanai are wonderful and we enjoyed watching the whales daily. It is hard to tear yourself away from the lanai. Bring your binoculars if coming in whale season. It is situated on a dead end street so it is nice and quiet. The Harbour shops are an easy walk with several restaurants. The bus stops across from the harbour also although I recommend renting a car as there is so much to see. You can drive to either Lahaina or Kihei to grocery shop and we never tired of the scenery.Ken and Lori have a binder with many recommendations and suggestions. You can walk for miles on the beach at the end of the street. You do get to see the sunrise but not the sunset from your lanai. We met many lovely and interesting people at the Maalaea Banyan that have been returning for 20-30 years. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again.We highly recommend it.

Wow! What a great place!

We found this condo on the internet, and what a gem it turned out to be! Very reasonably priced, close to everything, relaxing, and with everything we needed for a fine holiday getaway.
The owners were very helpful, and gave us lots of great tips on things to do and see on the island. Everything we needed was in the kitchen....the view was perfect......it was a nice quiet condo building. We've stayed in noisy places before; this was a welcome relief.
We will be planning another visit to this condo very soon!

A vacation home in paradise

The wife and I have stayed in this unit several times now. The combination of location, amenities, beautiful surroundings and price make this a hard bargain to beat.
Shop at Walmart or Costco and stock up the fridge and have some of you meals "at home". Saves a bundle from eating out for every meal like you would at a hotel! The airflow in the condo is so good that I think I've had the A/C on only once in all our visits. The view from the lanai is fantastic, sunrise over the mountain and whales in the bay (in season).
Some wonderful restaurants are within walking distance as is the boat harbor. There is a wonderful sunset dinner cruise on the Quicksilver that leaves from Maalaea harbor that we can highly recommend.
The owners, Ken and Lori are wonderful to deal with and committed to providing visitors a quality experience.You can't go wrong staying here.

What a nice quiet area to stay on Maui....! Well appointed condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. We loved to sit in the hot tub with a refreshment and watch the stars. Lanai views were awesome and we spotted lots of whales! Central location is nice too....this was our 2nd time staying at the condo....we'll be back!

I stayed in the Condo for five weeks. The price was great compaired to many other places on Maui. With all the amnities furnished in the condo it was just like being home. Everyone was very helpful with any information or request. I loved being able to sit on the lanai and watch the sunrise, whales and the sunset. It was nice being able to walking to the beach or store. The central location made it easy to drive any where on the island. Lori and Ken were very nice and helpful. They provided a lot of great information prior to my vacation. I hope to go back one of these days.

#208 Maalaea Banyans felt like home away from home only with a better view. We enjoyed the quiet locale with beautiful Sugar Beach only steps away and, as well, found this location to be very central to restaurants and shopping. We were close to whale watching tours, zip lining adventures, bike tours down from Haleakala, the Maui Ocean Centre and excellent hiking trails. From memories of being entertained by humpback whales frolicking in the waters offshore as we enjoyed breakfast on the lanai to sitting and watching darkness descend over Haleakala with an evening cocktail, Maui truly is a paradise. We appreciated Lori and Ken’s efforts in making us feel so welcome in their well-appointed condo and for following up with any information that we required.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Ken and Lori's condo. Naturally, we wanted a quiet retreat, away from the rush around world of cell phones and computers where we could just be alone together. No commercialism, tourist traps, or constant interruptions and we found exactly what we were looking for. From morning coffee on the lanai,over-looking the bay, to romantic evenings watching the sun set, it was everything we had hoped for. So much, in fact, that we returned the following year. The condo itself is clean, reasonably priced, beautifully located, and the mgmnt quite friendly. I can't say enough about the laid back atmosphere. It's an experience we hope to repeat!

Our stay at Ken and Lori's Condo was fabulous. The condo was very clean and very inviting. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The complex and grounds were beautiful and very clean. The management of the complex were very nice and helpful. The views from the condo were beautiful. We had a great time and would love to visit again. We would highly recommend this beautiful vacation spot.
