A one bedroom apartment with a study that can quickly covert to a second bedroom with bunk beds, this farmhouse is right on the Green River and looks out on the heart of Williamstown.

Above the popular Tsubo Massage, a whole host of opportunities to relax await.** Walking distance to Williams College, The Ephs Football field is a two block walk away, The Clark Art, Williams College Museum of Art, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Images Cinema, shopping on Spring Street, and local pub across the street, Celebrity hot spot Hops 'n Vines up the street, Taconic Golf course one block away and many many other eateries with in a short walk-this apartment can't be beat for convenience and comfort.

Affordable and private, the apartment offers a porch just outside the large kitchen with appliances, microwave, coffee maker. The sounds of the Green River can be heard in every room creating a deeply restful and uplifting stay. Two bedroom, one bath (with claw foot tub), bunk beds, and living room make for a roomy retreat. Large TV with DVD player, sofa, glider chair, multiple desks and air conditioning make staying a great option. Walking distance to the cultural abundance the village beautiful is known for.

About The Owner

A Wisconsin native, and Massage therapist for 19 years, I am enjoying the friendly and welcoming attitude of Wiliamstown and the Berkshires. My husband and 2 daughters all work, study and play in the Berkshires. We most especially love the theatre and culture that is available. The Clark Art has family days, the Williamstown Theatre Festival is always offering free theatre and childrens events as well as Broadway bound performances. Summer and Winter fun at Jiminey Peak, and unbelievable shopping just north at Manchester Vermont make this a perfect town to raise your kids. I am on the Board of the Williamstown Community Chest, a winner of the Sam Walton Emerging Entrepreneur award for women, and most recently a winner of the Berkshire Visitor Bureau's marketing award. This is one of the most beautiful area's in the country and we all benefit from the massive influence of Williams College, never a weekend goes by where there isn't some festival, activity or hike you can enjoy. A place where there is a smile for everyone and a hot cup of coffee around the corner, Williamstown is wonderful to kick up your feet and soak in the good life.

This apartment has a perfect storm of vacation desires. We knew so many artists, actors from NYC who needed lodging during the Williamstown Theatre Festival, once the whole building that my business was in became available, I couldn't resist buying it. Located with walking distance of all the many cultural institutions, festivals, and events... especially all Williams College events and activities. The exceptionally lush Taconic Golf Course is 2 blocks away, and 3 different restaurants all within a 10 minute walk. The apartment itself has had many celebrities, writers, and skiing enthusiasts stay, over and over again. The apartments charm, and location on the Green River seal the deal on this ideal vacation experience.

What makes this apartment unique

The upstairs apartment creates a hideaway like experience with river behind and small town charm in front. A unique location so close to town, so quiet and welcoming, and yet affordable and private.

I actually rented this apartment so that my baker friends could bake my wedding cake - it worked perfectly! The apartment is clean and well-lit, with a large kitchen with a lovely little porch of it for sipping morning coffee. The owner is effectively on-site, extremely friendly. Overall I highly recommend.

Lovely place

This is a wonderful very inspiring spot for writers, artists, romantic couples. It's a short walk to town where you'll find a coffee shop, galleries, stores, bars and restaurants. But the best is sitting out on the deck and listening to the river and the birds. The owner makes you feel sooo welcome. Elizabeth Winthrop

Attention to detail.

We had a great time in Williamstown.
Your place was very comfortable. Loved the little attentions you left in there for our little girl.
The bed was very comfortable and we even checked the bedding's brand :) Nautica. Great stuff.
The town is very nice and easy for us. And there's so much going on around.
We wish to come back some time in the fall.

As far as I'm concerned, your place is great!
