This home overlooks Lake Travis from two directions. You can rock on the porch, watch your favorite tv on the flat screen or hop in the golf cart for a ride down to the water where you will find a large firepit for roasting smores and the boat dock that can house your own boat. The property also offers discounts at a near by Marina.
As for the house, construction was just completed in October 2011 and is new to the market. While it has feel of being at the lake, it still brings with it a feel of luxury with granite in the kitchen, cozy furnishings, wireless internet, and direct tv.
This property offers the best of both worlds. It offers a quaint get away, the full and excitement of being on the lake from sun up til sundown yet close to all the shops, stores, healthcare that you would ever need.
Be sure and plan enough time to take in all the area has to offer.
We enjoy this eclectic street on the lake every day of the year. It is my husbands love for this area that he built these houses. He wanted others to be able to enjoy great times with family and friends just as we have. We want every guests that stay in our houses to have a wonderful time. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a month long retreat, we have three houses and surely one of them will give you the peace that you are looking for.
This property once held an old one room tiny house with no plumbing. My husband wanted to improve the property and give guests a place to enjoy the lake experience...so he built two homes that give you a feel of being out in the country and yet the comfort of being close to restaurants, shopping, or the lake. The decks of these houses have plenty of room to sit and drink coffee in the morning or cook dinner on the grill in the evening.
This house and the house next door have the benefit of a great view as well as having direct access to the water, boat slip, pool and firepit all by the water. The golf cart is just a perk. These golf carts are often seen viewing the areas on the street.

Very Nice Place
I don't think the profile should say it sleeps 10, as it only has beds for 6 and a couch for a 7th. The house was perfect size for 6 or 7 people, but if you have any more than that, it's pretty cramped. It is also further out than I expected. We had planned to cook several meals, but there were only a couple skillets, and pans. The largest reason we rented a cabin instead of hotel rooms was to be able to cook. Again, if it is listed to sleep 10, we should be able to cook for 10. We also ran out of toilet paper on the 4th day of our stay.
I would stay here again if it was only my family of 5, but not with any more people than that.

Nice Property; Poorly Managed & MaintainedThere was unwashed kitchenware and the floor was dirty upon arrival. There was no carafe for the coffee pot, no toaster, and the BBQ grill was filthy and had no propane. The kitchen faucet was loose and the master shower handle came off in my husband's hand. The dishwasher left an unappetizing white chalky coating on the dishes.
There is no king bed as listed. There are 2 queens and 2 twin beds.
The water pressure in the master shower was very weak. No hairdryer as listed (glad I brought one just in case).
It lists "filtered water", however, a sign in the unit recommended we have bottled water since the house used well water. I never found the restaurant dining guide or local maps that were supposed to be there.
There's no boat available for rent as stated. The property isn't waterfront--it's actually across the street from waterfront homes. The pool and fire pit are shared with other units and located off site.
The HomeAway page needs to be updated. To get there and find it's not as stated is very disappointing. It didn't ruin our family's getaway but it was very inconvenient and frustrating.
I am so sorry to hear of anything less than a raving review. We want all of our guests to have a great time and to love their stay. I am also sorry that I did not get to meet you.
As to your comments above, I have checked the HomeAway site. You are right on the boat for rental issue. For some reason it is still showing as available on one site and it is not available but you actually receive a better discount with a Marina who is just across the lake from us. I am sorry that we didn't know that you were wanting to rent a boat as we would for sure have given you their contact information.
As for the house not being in perfect condition, we apologize. We have discussed this to try and figure out what could have happened and for the life of us, it is a mystery.
You are right about he beds. Your house is listed as having 2 queen beds and 2 twin. The Red House (House A next door) has the King and 2 queens. We apologize if this was confusing for you.
You are also correct as to this property not being right on the water but I did check this on the site and it not showing as waterfront. We will make this even more clear in the future. These houses have the views that the waterfront houses do not and the golf cart to go down to the water and pool.
I am sorry that we didn't hear about this sooner as we live 3 doors down and would have been more than happy to help you with directions, boat rental, etc. We truly want you to have a great time.
