It is an English speaking country, which is why it attracts so many Americans and Canadian visitors. We offer a full array of tours & activities to choose from. There is anything from diving, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, mainland tours, jungle tours, cave tubing, zip lining, Mayan ruins, horseback riding, jungle dirt bikes, cave exploration, baboon sanctuary, bird watching and Belize Zoo.

Great Vacation!

We traveled here from Canada, to get away from the cold winter this year. We arrived in San Pedro and Black Orchid Management was there to meet us and assisted us with getting our golf cart. Lucinda then escorted us to the property. We thought the rooms were very spacious, and we loved how all the rooms opened into each other.

This was not our first time to Belize, we have been here before and decided to try Hol Chan Reef Resort this time. The resort was lovely, we enjoyed the pool, the dock and the peacefulness and we thought management did a very good job.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Belize. We had a great time snorkeling and the restaurants were wonderful. We hated to leave, but our time was up. We will definitely be back.

Great Time

The location was wonderful, being able to snorkel right off the pier and/or get picked up for tours on the water. The condo is bright, spacious, modern and clean. The massive patio with doors off the living area and master bedroom are a dream, especially in the morning, overlooking the Caribbean Sea with the Hol Chan Reef Reserve in the distance. The 'Romeo and Juliet' balcony, in the master bedroom, is a pure bonus for lovely evening cross breezes and aesthetic appeal. Everyone was extraordinarily friendly and extremely helpful! Would definitively recommend this property to friends and/or return to it myself! Numerous water activities which one really must take advantage of, with the second largest barrier reef just within a short boat ride. Even snorkeling right off the pier, one is able to observe numerous fish, sponges, corals, anemones, sea cucumbers, starfish, gastropods, calcareous algae, and turtle grass (from a marine biology nerd, sorry!). Not to mention the diversity and activity of the birds on shore and within the shallow waters. Definitely did not want to leave!
