Wonderful stay

We, and another couple, came to Albuquerque to attend our first Balloon Fiesta. We had reviewed various properties on VRBO and decided on this unit based on quest reviews. We weren't disappointed. The owner, Josephine Martin, was easy to work with and assured us that she and her husband were on hand for any questions or issues we might have during our stay. The unit is well appointed and very clean. Although we didn't utilize the kitchen, except for breakfast, it had all the equipment necessary for making meals. The owners left a nice goodie basket for us with snacks...nice touch. The beds were comfortable, as was the living room furniture. The location is excellent for attending the Fiesta..just off I-25 in a gated community. If you don't want to go to the balloon park, you can sit on the patio as the balloons go by and have your morning coffee. The unit has two bedrooms that easily accommodates 4 adults; also a small loft area with two small beds that can handle two more if necessary. The unit has garage space for two cars...although during our visit the owners had a boat on one side requiring us to park one of our vehicles in a parking area across the street. No problem as the parking area is just a few steps to the unit. We would definitely recommend this unit.

Great townhome in a Convenient Location

We came to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta. Townhome is in a great loction to easily get to everything. Spacious, clean, attractive decor, nicely equipped, great master bed/bath, secure, quiet. Nice to have a garage. Loved that they had folding chairs to take to the Fiesta. Enjoyed the patio. Used the work table to spread out our maps and materials to plan our days. Balloon Fiesta was incredible! (the ascension was canceled due to high winds on our first visit -- be prepared for the possibility and allow time -- you don't want to miss it.). We also enjoyed visiting Corrales, the BioPark, Old Town, Nob Hill and Route 66, and just driving around to see the neighborhoods of Albuquerque. This townhouse was a great find and the owner was very nice to deal with.

Great roomy townhouse

Very nice townhome close to freeway- yet gated, secure and quiet. We used this clean, roomy townhouse as a base for touring Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and even took a road trip to the grand canyon. The small patio with gas grill was wonderful for sitting out and grilling. The living room gave us a place to gather and talk over our days. We have always used VRBO for our vacations and this one is on the list for a return. The owners were only a phone call away and very responsive. We had no concerns but I felt as if I could call if we needed anything. The list of menus and local map by the front door was a plus, as was a secure garage to park in, and the washer/drier. The five of us were very happy. Also, the price is the price- no cleaning fee. The goodie basket with coffee and granola bars was a life saver after a five hour flight.

Why stay in a hotel? This property is so comfortable.

This property was immaculately clean, centrally located, more spacious than the photos show and nicely stocked and furnished. Why stay in a hotel room? We (two couples) were in Alburquerque for the Hot Air Balloon Festival. It is very close to the grounds and in a gated community. The reason we always turn to VRBO and rent a home/condo/townhouse is for the roominess and quietness of a home and for the option of eating at home. That said I wish there had been some directions to a local--large--store. So for those of you renting this property next, the closest is a super Walmart for all your needs at: 2701 Carlisle Blvd Ne. Put the address into your GPS, Google it from the townhouse (they have WiFi), or simply go out the gate, turn left and go a couple blocks to Carlisle and turn left. It's right there. Also, what the photos do not show is that there is a little patio off the living room with a table and chairs. When we weren't at the balloon festival, we sat out there in the mornings with coffee and watched the balloons go by overhead. We highly recommend this property.

Location was great, house was better than the pictures, only wished we could've stayed longer! We'll be back if ever in the area again. And HIGHLY reccommend this property.

The Perfect Place

Three of us spent 10 days in this home. It felt like a home and we used all there was to use of it - kitchen, grill, work space. It was comfortable, exceptionally well equipped, quiet and in excellent shape. It was easy to get to the highway and stores. We felt it was ideal for work AND for relaxation. The work table was such a great addition to the living space. The owners were delightful to work with through the entire process.

Great place to stay centrally located

Enjoyed two days at this centrally located condo near downtown. Exceptionally clean, well organized & designed, it was very comfy for two adults and 3 teenagers.Trader Joe's isn't far away to stock up the kitchen. Just enough plates and dishes. Extensive DVD selection in living room was nice for kids. Furniture in living room was very comfy.Only complaint was it was a little hard to find first time in...google maps seemed to have misnamed the turn-off road or ? Bonus: no cleaning fee.

Great vacation rental.

Stayed here for the balloon festival and the townhome was an excellent choice! Centrally located to everything we wanted, easy access to the highways. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The interior was decorated as if we were family and not unknown renters. We were five individuals and had plenty of space for everyone. The master suite is the best! Did not utilize the grill but enjoyed the patio. The pictures do not reflect the actual spaciousness of the townhome and the many personal touches.
