This two bedroom new condo is in the Aspens development, a top floor unit that is a slope side townhouse condo. This luxurious 2 bedroom, 1 bath town home getaway is located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, British Columbia, nestled in Columbia Valley surrounded by the beautiful Purcell and Rocky Mountain ranges.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is home champagne powder and incredible steeps for the avid skier and snowboarder. The winter season boasts an array of mountain activities including; skating, tubing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and walking.

In the summer let the Eagles Eye Gondola take you atop the Purcell Mountain range for incredible sightseeing, downhill mountain biking, hiking, ridge top exploring, wildlife viewing or an unforgettable meal at Eagle's Eye Restaurant, Canada's highest restaurant. Local Family of Four (now living all over BC) bought unit in 2008 as a family retreat to take advantage of the great opportunities at KHMR.

Why Owner - Jubilee chose Golden

Our condo is located at the South end of the ski resort, close enough for easy access but far enough away to have some peace and quiet to relax after a long day on the mountain. We purchased the unit due to the location in the development, north facing and for the views of the Columbia Valley, a jewel not to be missed is the morning alpen glow on the mountains! KHMR is an amazing mountain with great early and late season skiing and snow coverage. This resort continues to grow and develop offering you the best in skiing, a wide variety or steeps and chutes for the experts and the development of a broad beginner and intermediate skier area. Take advantage of skiing at KHMR other than the Christmas season and you will find that you will have the ski hill to yourself!

In the summer time, a truly unique experience is the Grizzly Bear Refuge - where you can learn and watch a grizzly bear within a natural enclosure. Boo was orphaned when his mother was shot by a poacher and the Refuge offers Boo a second chance at life, is working to help future orphan cubs and educates the public - an opportunity that will invoke a deeper connection to our majestic wild animals!

This is a great place to ski, relax, and vacation. Golden is a great little town with tones of personality and KHMR offers a unique winter and summer experience!

The condo was clean and in a good location. The deck is large and overlooks the valley. We were only here for one night so we did not get a chance to use the hot tub. The owner was very helpful and was able to suggest places to us as we requested them. We were traveling with five people and the extra sheets and towels were already set out for us. I would recommend this condo to visitors and suggest they stay for several days to enjoy the resort attractions.

The owener of this Condo emailed us with several pages of things to do in Golden and nearby areas before we arrived. She was very prompt and helpful!
We arrived at our beautiful Condo on a Sunday night. The condo was beautiful, and spotless. Instructions for the TV was in the binder along with other helpful info. The views from the condo are unbelieveable! Every window has a fantastic view! We used the condo as a base for our outings to Lake Louise, Columbia Icefields, and lots of other points of interest for day trips.
We used the BBQ for a couple of our dinners. The deck was nice and big and also had a nice hot tub.
The bedrooms were a good size. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was ready to use. It was well stocked with everything you would need, including a washer and dryer!
We throughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come back again one day!

Condo was just as advertised. Great ski in-ski out location. Loved the private hottub at the end of the day! Not crowded with 4 ladies. Quiet at night with an easy walk down to the pub.

Beautiful condo on the hill at Kicking Horse. Probably the best location of the Aspens group of condos. The large deck with hot tub faces south with 180 degree view from the hill to across the valley. Of course, the great powder to start the trip and blue sky spring skiing finish contributed to a great time. Thanks.

Comfortable home away from home

We stayed at this clean and comfortable condo in September 2011 for a sisters getaway. The unit was well equipped and had most of the ammenities you would find at home. The views of the mountains were very scenic and it was a quiet time of year so noise from neighbours was never an issue. The proximity of the unit right at the Kicking Horse Mountain resort was very convenient, particularly if skiing brings you to the area. We were there during off-season so some of the KHM services weren't open but our group really enjoyed visiting the grizzly bear refuge which was right at the resort so that suited our interests. Additional amenities are a short drive away and Golden is certainly beautiful, whether during ski season or not. The owner was very friendly and was most helpful in providing additional information about the area. All and all, it was a terrific condo at a reasonable price so we would stay there again.

Wonderful Destination

We enjoyed our stay at the Kicking Horse resort. Especially impressive were the location and the jacuzzi with a magnificent view.
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and very clean.
We want to come back when we have again a vacation in Canada.

Great on hill condo!

This condo was cute and comfortable for myself, my husband, and 3 friends. Great view of the mountain from the private hot tub on the deck. We had a wonderful relaxing couple of days snowboarding at kicking horse. Jubilee was great to deal with, we will definitely return!
