House, 2 Bedrooms + Sunroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6-8)

Charming fully furnished Lake house for both friends and families to enjoy. The house is situated on a charming 450 acre lake in northern Wisconsin. The lake is known as a class A Musky Lake, but other species abound including Walleye, Crappie, Bass, Perch, and pan-fish. If fishing is not what you are after, there are also water-sports to enjoy. The property has 100 feet of slowly sloping sandy bottom frontage. My friends have children that love to play around the dock. Even at 200 feet out, the sandy bottom is only 4-5 feet deep.

After a long day of fishing or playing on the water, it is always nice to enjoy a few smores and beverages around the large fire ring. There is also a wood burning Sauna located 5 feet from the water. Perhaps a nice relaxing stint in the Sauna followed by a jump in the lake is what you're looking for?

The house itself is fully remodeled except for upstairs sleeping area, which is a divided loft. New floors, cedar tongue and groove ceiling, and a modern bathroom are among the highlights. The kitchen is also newly finished with modern appliances. Nice furniture and a 55' LED TV come standard in the living room. Perhaps sitting around the cozy fireplace tickles your fancy?

Sleeping arrangements are as follows.....1 queen bed upstairs in the area facing the lake. This area also has a 32' LCD TV with Directv. Down the hall the back sleeping area houses 1 double bed, and 2 twin beds. In the sunroom there is a hide-away bed, and there is also an air mattress and couch to sleep a few more. If you are looking to get more in touch with nature, there is a large tent that could be set up in the front yard.

Why The Owner chose Solon Springs

This area is a great getaway destination for friends and families. The lake is close enough to a big city(Duluth / Superior) but yet far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. This particular location is notorious for being 10 - 15 deg warmer than in town (away from Lake Superior).

What makes this house unique

This is a great place to wake up to the residing Loon family singing a song. Walk out the door and 100 feet to the lake while enjoying your coffee. Peace and tranquility can be enjoyed to its fullest!

I also enjoy the 3 watering holes around the lake. There is also a general store at the campground...they have the best pizza around!

A great Lake Getaway

My wfie and I stayed at Jim's place on the lake over Thanksgiving weekend. We just wanted to get out of the cities, and enjoy the holiday. We went to Duluth which was on 30 minutes away, and spent time in Superior. The house is very nicely updated with modern conveniences such as satelite TV and a HUGE 55" HD TV. The house is set write on the lake. There were so many stars out to see at night liveing in the city we forget about them. The house was very clean. We can't wait to stay in the summer as he has a boat, a firepit and to be able to BBQ. Over the weekend we saw a lot of hunters, so I highly recomend this for those folks.

Excellent family outing

This was a great place to bring my family for the Fourth of July. Great atmosphere and fantastic fireworks. The kids loved playing in the lake.
