High atop a granite ledge, this contemporary home offers excellent views of the ocean over the treetops. Watch golden sunsets filter through surrounding trees. Spend fun-filled days at soft sand beaches, hike the many conservation trails, or kayak along protected coves and inlets. At the end of the day, relax in the window-filled living room that opens to a large deck. For quieter moments retire to your private deck off the master bedroom and watch afternoon boat races or ship traffic on its way to and from Portland harbor. When not dining at one of the local restaurants, cooking up meals is a breeze in the new contemporary kitchen. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and the bedrooms and loft have been freshly painted. All have plenty of windows that bring in sunshine and cool breezes. Come, relax and enjoy!

this house has it all! it is well kept and appropriately furnished. we like that the bedrooms are not on the same level as the living/dining...it felt a bit more private. the decks are great, the fire pit is great, and we love that kayaks came with the rental. we were close to two beaches and several small towns. we loved the house so much that we cooked in every day! added bonus was the option of tv (with direct tv and dvd) and wifi. we loved the house so much that we just might book again next year! fabulous time and fabulous house!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Our family had the most amazing time at this place. Denise was very helpful, thoughtful and professional. The house was beautiful, well kept and completely supplied with most amenities. The kayaks were an added bonus! We had wonderful bonfires at night, roasting marshmallows with the kids and enjoyed our dinners on the porch, while watching the sun set. Popham Beach is a must! It was beautiful!

Si vous êtes comme nous, des Québécois à la recherche d'une maison à louer près de la mer, pas évident de trouver. Mais celle-ci, mettez la sur votre liste! Denise la prorpiétaire est une femme généreuse et ajoute des touches de délicatesse de toutes sortes. L'endroit est magnifique, calme, reposant, un site à couper le souffle sur un cap rocheux, La maison est tout en hauteur, 3 étages, 2 immenses galeries, un maison tout en beauté intérieure et extérieure. De la propreté et de la qualité jusqu'aux lits très confortables, tout mais tout y est! C'est superbe. Nous étions 3 adultes et 5 enfants et tout le monde a été ravis. La très belle plage de Pupham Beach est à 6 minutes en voiture. Bref, rapport qualité prix difficile de trouver mieux! Un maison unique, ravissante qui a de l'âme! Ça vaut les escaliers qui en fait, se montent comme un charme...il y a même une petite galerie sur le toit pour observer les étoiles! Adooooorable. Quoi dire d'autres? Pour toutes questions, fiez-vous aux propriétaires, ils sont des plus honnêtes. Bon séjour!

Comfortable home, had all amenities as promised by the owner. The house was clean and well-maintained. We had a great time here! Ocean views from the master bedroom private deck and the terrace are spectacular! Nice undeveloped beach at walking distance. Popham beach is also closeby and just loved it there! The house had a nice warm feeling and we would definitely want to visit again and stay for a longer duration. Owner was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property!!

Amazing house with a great view!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house during Memorial Day weekend with our family from TX, NY, and NJ. The house is absolutly amazing from the decor and furniture to the deck and fire pit outside. We walked to a local beach at the end of the road and brought the kayaks that were provided for us. The hiking trails are great (just make sure to put plenty of bug spray on). Popham beach is a short drive and a great beach to hang out for the day. This house if perfect for just staying inside to relax and stay cozy by the wood stove or for the person looking for the active/hiking experience (including the stairs). Denise was wonderful as well. Very flexible and pleasant.
