This was a fun cottage for Mom's of small children. Very child friendly neighbourhood. Safe to park on the street if you can find an empty spot-like gold dust-but we did it! It was a very clean and well maintained. The photo's accurately reflect the rental's appearances and amenities. The owners were very helpful, I loved their friendliness! I would deffiently recomend this to my friends and family! It was the best place close to Venice or Santa Monica Beaches. That's what I loved-walking to the Beach with my children. While my husband studied at American Flyers to earn his CFI. We used the kitchen in the evening, and loved it! We picnic on the beach everyday. I found Albertson's grocery store two miles away on the GPS. Good , clean, not too busy. Easy in and out. Enjoy this cottage as much I did- I loved it here! We went to Anaheim, CA to Disneyland also. The Beach was the best in my book!

We came down for some sun and relaxation from Washington DC on a last minute whim.

The owners, Jon and Mary, were really helpful from the moment we enquired about staying here, and were warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived, which just added more pleasure to our stay.

Our family was very impressed with the cottage. The location was perfect, a few steps from the beach, yet on a quiet street so we got the best of both worlds – we felt at the heart of things, yet could recharge our batteries and feel relaxed.

There were plenty of child friendly bars and restaurants nearby and everyone was friendly, we felt so lucky to be staying in a real neighborhood community. We were pretty much able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

The cottage has everything you could want (TVs, great kitchen etc), and feels like a real home-away-from-home. It’s been thoughtfully furnished and it is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in their property. The kids particularly enjoyed being able to have a BBQ on the deck after a long day at the beach. And the selection of games was a nice touch.

The cottage comes with a parking space – which is a real bonus (and a luxury) in this part of town.

We usually stay in hotels when we travel – this was one of the first times we have travelled as a family and stayed in a vacation rental cottage. It changed our experience of travelling as a family and will now be much repeated.

We will return again to stay here. We recharged our batteries, got some sun, made new friends, and spent a fantastic week together as a family.

This really is a great cottage in a great location.

I love this place!

I live in LA, but wanted to stay by the beach with some friends who were coming from across the pond - and this just seemed a perfect choice for a long weekend of beach living.

Booking was easy and the lovely owners could have not been more helpful - from our strange check in time request, to ensuring we knew exactly where the (much prized) parking spot was, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. And they were always on-hand if we wanted ideas of places to eat or things to do.

As two couples, the house suited us perfectly. Fully fitted kitchen... HDTVs... games, though to be honest, when you are literally steps from the beach and some great bars and restaurants, we didn't spend a huge amount of time cooking and watching TV... It was chilled out beach living at it's best.

The cottage feels well loved and cared for... and it's clear the owners care that you have a great stay. Considering how close the cottage is to the beach, bars and restaurants, it felt relaxed, quiet and relaxing...

Now I just need to find more excuses to come and stay here again [and again... and again].

L’habitation est très bien située à un demi-block de la plage, entre le cœur de Venice et les canaux. Si vous avez une voiture, une place de parking est prévue ; sinon, des arrêts de bus ne sont pas très loin si vous choisissez les transports en commun.
La maison est propre, très équipée. Elle est dotée de 2 chambres à l’étage, ce qui permet de loger 2 couples. Dans le salon, un canapé lit permet éventuellement de rajouter un couple mais on perdrait en espace. Tout y est : lave-linge, sèche-linge, TV, musique, cuisine équipée. Même le linge de maison est prêt (serviettes, draps, couvertures).
Les propriétaires sont adorables et ne sont pas avares de conseils. Nous avons passé 10 jours et nous avions vraiment l’impression de quitter notre maison le jour fatidique du départ. N’hésitez plus, louez cette maison ; vous ne serez pas déçu !

You want to spend a few days in Los Angeles, to switch between visits and relaxation. This announcement is for you. This guesthouse next to the villa owner, you can rest assured your home during your stay, while having the opportunity to get help or request information to your host.
The house is conveniently located half a block from the beach, between the heart of Venice and the canals. If you have a car, a parking space is provided; otherwise the bus stops are not very far if you choose public transportation.
The house is clean, very equipped. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs, which can accommodate two couples. In the living room, sofa bed can possibly add a couple but would be lost in space. It has everything: washing machine, dryer, TV, music, kitchen. Even the linen is ready (towels, sheets, blankets).
The owners are adorable and are not short on advice. We spent 10 days and we really felt to leave our house on the fateful day of departure. Go ahead; rent that house, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely cottage just on the beach, it was ideally located just off the boardwalk and within short walking distance of the noise of the boardwalk. We loved our stay, the owner was extremely accomodating and the facilities were perfect! Thank you Jonathan.

We loved our Venice Beach vacation! The location of the cottage is so perfect, close to shops, boardwalk, beach, bike path... it enabled all of us to get just what we wanted out of vacation. Jonathan and his family are very welcoming, and helped to make our stay just perfect. The cottage is just as pictured, cute, cozy, and a place where you will feel at home. We plan on coming back and staying again (hopefully in the near future).

This is just a beautiful little cottage by the sea - all of the necessary amenities are right there and you are close enough to hear the ocean. It is so pleasant to walk on the boardwalk which is half a block away. The cottage is lovely inside and out with plenty of room as it is two-story, with a nice furniture, a full kitchen and washer and dryer right at your convenience. It is also very private and you could not ask for more respectful and pleasant landlords - they don't bother you but are available for questions or assistance. My husband and I have stayed here four times in the last two years and look forward to our next stay.
