Our group of 12 loved staying in this cozy and comfortable house. The views of the trees and lake from inside the house will take your breath away. With spacious bedrooms and living areas upstairs and down, it fit our family perfectly. We took advantage of the dock, paddle boat, kayaks, beach within walking distance, pool table, huge fireplace, and upper deck. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked with pans, utensils and dishes. Thomas was very pleasant to work with.
We bought the Lake Naomi membership and the younger members of our group enjoyed the pool and large beach but next time I would not buy passes for the grandparents and would just pay guest fees as needed for them to save a little money. We liked being at the house so much that we didn't use the Club facilities as much as we thought we would. If you are looking for a secluded retreat that feels like your own private lake this is the place for you.

My family of 14, 4 couples and our 6 children rented this home for a week.
First of all Thomas was very helpful and responded to emails quickly.
The home was very inviting and there was plenty of space for all of us to stay comfortably. It was well stocked, from toilet paper, laundry detergent, shampoos to various size pots and pans for our multiple uses (and much more).
We were surprised at how well stocked the home was.
We thoroughly enjoyed the two kayaks and peddle boats. It was nice to have a beach a few yards away (felt like our own private beach), even though we didn't use it.
And the pool table was definitely a plus.
There is also a large selection of books for our reading pleasure and games for the kids as weel.
We took advantage of lake naomi compound so was able to enjoy their outdoor swimming pool.
Almost everything was 15 minutes away, so very conveniently located, We visited the casino and the outlets (about 15 minutes away).
If you're looking for a good place for dinner and reasonably priced, I would recommend the East Gourmet Buffet in Bartonsville (about 20 minutes away).
Walmart and other supermarkets are a few minutes away as well so I would recommend not overpacking supplies like we did. Everything was at your fingertips.
Overall it is a beautiful home, in a great location.

NOTE: We are heading back to Pocono Pines, Lake Naomi in about 4 weeks, and I happened to take a quick recent peek at the site and realized that our review from last year never posted! I found that I still had it in my file so am sending it on to Thomas and asking him to post it for us since I obviously failed at it last summer….I am pretty confident that this review will apply to the experience that that we are looking forward to having there in just a few more weeks!...

I began last February to find a place for our family to gather to celebrate my 65th birthday-my gift to myself. There would be my husband and me, our 3 sons and their wives, and our 3 grandchildren ages 5, 2, 1. We would be coming from Buffalo, Boston, Philadelphia and Nashville and the place had to be big enough and pet friendly. Searching through Homeaway, which we had successfully used once before, I zeroed in on the Poconos and discovered Pocono PInes. It sounded perfect and I began emailing Thomas with all kinds of questions. He was quick to answer and extremely helpful and always addressed any concerns I had. All sounded perfect so I booked a week in July and was excited when July rolled around. And then we arrived. Would it be all that we anticipated? In a word -YES!! It was all that we had hoped for and more! My kids commented several times during the week on what a great choice it was! The deck was wonderful, the house size was great, the kitchen large and well stocked, and the amenities (dock, kayak, pedal boat, pool table etc.) were all great and utilized by all! We also thought the counter and sinks in every bedroom were terrific and the master bedroom bathroom -wow! Plus, we did take advantage of getting a temporary membership to the Lake Naomi CLub and found it well worth it. It was a very hot week and the kids and the adults had great fun off the dock in the lake, at the small sandy beach just yards away, or in the huge Lake Naomi pool!.
We had only one regret...and that was that the week together ended and we had to leave! However, we liked it so much we have booked it again for next summer (2012)! Throughout our entire experience, Thomas was always very helpful and very accommodating and he is very receptive to suggestions for making it even more wonderful. Just wanted to extend our happiness with the Memorial Day weekend getaway at this fabulous home. This house is elegant and has all the conveniences anyone would ever need. The bedrooms are spacious and has their own sinks..the master bedroom has a jacuzzi. This house was situated at a lake and use of two canoes and a paddle boat were provided. in terms of location you cant beat it. 15 min from outlet mall..5 min from food shopping (Shop Rite); close to a casino.
We could not have made a better choice than we did. We definitely would love to come back here for our future Pocono getaways.

My family and I had a great time at this house! It looks better in person than it does in the pictures! It was cozy and warm, even though it is so big. It felt cozy from the moment we walked in the door. Thomas (the owner) was very welcoming, he left us some great information and told us if we needed anything we could contact him for help. My daughter left her phone there and he contacted us and told us he found it along with some chargers (which I found very nice). The house was clean and well maintained! There is a book shelf filled with good books (if you enjoy reading). The deck was really nice, we had really nice weather our last day there and were able to enjoy the paddle boats. The lake is GREAT! The view from the deck is amazing!

I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends. There are restaurants near the house in case you want to eat out. Our family went for a walk and it was so relaxing.

Our weekend was unforgettable! My family and I are already planning our next trip there!

What a beautiful home. The pictures on the internet do not show how wonderful and beautiful the home is. Our stay was very comfortable. We really enjoyed every moment. Thomas was very helpful and friendly. The kids had a great time. We really enjoyed the two fire places. We will come again.

We had several families stay at this home the weekend of 2/10-2/12. The owner was extremely accomodating, very easy to communicate with and the house was incredible in size. The pictures do not do it justice. You really felt like home being away from home. We were surprised to find that the 7th bedroom had a sink in it, as well the other 6, and the house had a wetbar downstairs in the game/family room that was awesome! It's definately a great house for alot of people with enough room for all to enjoy! It was very close to camelback, which we skiid and snow tubed during the weekend. I just wanted to say that my family and I had an incredible and awesome time. This house was so comfortable, beautiful and so clean..Everything we needed was there and everything was so well stocked. I have never felt so at home and so at ease being away from home. Thank you to the owners for one of the Best New Years my family and I have had in a very long time. I was sad to leave and cannot wait to come back... You will be hearing from us agian real soon..Such a great time, Thank you.
