Our family just came back home after a delightful stay at the Valley View Lodge. There were 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 15 - 7. The property is very comfortable and has outstanding accommodations. The photos provided a clear depiction of the property. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty for everyone to do. The kitchen is very well equipped -- much better than most properties we've stayed in. It is close to the slopes with easy access to the Headin' Home run. The owner was very helpful and a delight to work with. I highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again if our travels again take us to the Angel Fire Resort!

We had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular - day and night - clear and rainy. It was awesome seeing the clear view, the fog in the mornings and being eye level with the amazing lightning. There were 14 of us and We ranged in age from 1 - 60. Ample space to accommodate the different families. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed and the fire pit was fun.. We were sorry the hot tub didn't work The hiking was amazing, as were the restaurants. Locally we tried Zebs and Hatcha's - both enjoyable. Taos and Red River are close with lots to do. Shopping, jeep trails, tubing, golfing, hiking, biking, and sight seeing.

We had an excellent time at the Valley View Lodge. We've had the pleasure of renting many mountain homes, but the view from this one could not be beat! We enjoyed watching the sunset every evening while eating dinner indoors, and then we'd bundle up and marvel at the incredible view of the stars from the upper deck. Our kids loved having the game systems on which to play, and the adults in our group loved having multiple living areas so we could visit while the kids played.

The homeowners are super sweet and made our stay extremely pleasant. We truly appreciate that the condo had everything we needed. I loved that I did not need to bring a crock pot or pack-n-play.

Our favorite part of this location was the proximity to the slopes (or in our case, the mountain biking trails). With many smaller kids in our group, it could have been difficult for any of our adults to ride. With this fantastic location, we were able to take turns on the trails. One couple would stay and babysit, while the other would ride the trails to the base, ride the lift up, and return to the house. We are hooked on Down Hill Mountain Biking and can not wait to take another trip. Both my husband and I were sad for many days after coming back to reality because we wanted to be back at this home in the mountains.

Our kids loved playing in the woods near the beautiful fire-pit. While the adults lounged in the adirondack chairs, the kids would hike around us playing sweet imaginary games. They especially loved all of the wildlife that surrounded this home... the chipmunks were too many to count, and we saw elk nearly every day.

We have stayed at many VRBO locations across the US but this property is the best. My 12-year-old daughter even mentioned the amazing Sunrise view. At an age where it is cool to be unimpressed she was impressed. We had a hard time getting our children out of the house to go skiing. They loved the space, the Xbox and the Jacuzzi. This location has everything. Every time I needed anything it was there. The listing is very accurate down to the 500 yards from ski run. We drove to the end of the street the second morning, skied until lunch, stopped in the middle of the run and drove back to house for lunch. Then back to ski run for afternoon skiing. It was a great way to avoid the crowds. I would definitely recommend this to friends. It works great for larger groups. Because of the layout of the house everyone has there own space.
