The Kersen Cabin is a cozy one bedroom cabin with an amazing location right off of Main Street in Ouray, only half a mile from the Ouray Hot Springs Pool and the center of Main Street.

The cabin can sleep 4 people has a private loft bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa in the living area. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, grill for the summer nights and great views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Close to hiking, jeeping, horseback riding, swimming, and many other great activities the Kersen Cabin is a great base camp for everything that the Mountains has to offer.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay during our recent trip to Ouray. The cabin was private, very cute and well maintained. It was also a short walk to the downtown area. We will stay again on our next trip and I would recommend to our friends and family.

Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Do not be fooled by this listing. This cabin is not two blocks off of main street in ouray nor is it close or within walking distance of anything. The sleeping sofa was extrememy dirty and the stairs up to the loft are steep and difficult to navigate. No real views of anything. In fact, we decided to eat the cost of the cabin and pay for a hotel in Ouray. Also, for some reason, we had to deal with a management company (silverstar properties) instead of the owner. The mgmt company was difficult to reach and would not provide any refund.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. Unfortunately this guest was under the impression that she was on Main Street in the middle of town. We tried to move her closer in to town but this guest felt it was easier to write about her stay than enjoy it.
We take every review seriously and we will try harder next time to explain where the cabin is so there is no confusion.
