We recently returned from a week at this lovely unit on the beach at Gasparilla Island. It is located on the northern end of the island at the Sea Oats Condominium complex. Sea Oats is a fairly small complex and the community of people is extremely friendly. The unit itself is very spacious and was perfect for our family of four. The pictures do not do this unit justice. In addition to the indoor living spaces, there is also a very large screened in porch area where we spent much of our time. There is a side view of the ocean, as well as of the pool, hottub, and grounds. There are also laundry facilities in the unit, which were very handy for wet towels, etc. The complex has some gas and charcoal grills available for use. The star of this location, of course, is the beach. It is extremely wide, sugar, white sand, with exceptional shelling, dolphin watching, and sunsets. We could not have asked for more. My only complaint is that we had to come home. This area is a relaxed, low key area, but there are activities very close by. We went fishing one day and one of my daughters went kayaking. There are bike trails on the island as well.
