About the villa: Aerie Apt 1 is situated in a residential villa that is comprised of 3 studio apartments and 3 double rooms, each of which has its own private entrance to ensure guests' privacy. It is located on the top floor of the villa just 3 flights of stairs above street level. There is only one other apartment on the same level, a nearly-identical studio apartment next door. In addition to a private balcony, there is a large shared terrace with a table and chairs for each of the studios. On the terrace guests can relax and enjoy breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the Old Town below.
About the neighborhood: The elite residential neighborhood of Ploce is highly coveted for its spectacular sea views and its proximity to Old Town. It is also extremely quiet--a feature that is appreciated by residents and guests alike. Grocery markets, cafes, restaurants, shops, and the famous Banje beach can be found in/near the Old Town which is just 10-15 minutes' walking distance away. However, the return trip will take longer as it involves a climb of over 300 stairs. Fortunately, taxis from the Old Town are plentiful and affordable, costing around 40 kuna (about 6 euro) each way.
