Beautiful historic beach home recently renovated with environmentally friendly building techniques! This two bedroom pet friendly home with a loft offers a king bed in the master suite, a full bed in the second bedroom, and a full sized futon in the loft.
With two full bathrooms, the home is perfect for a family and there is even a fenced yard for your dogs! The house is a short walk to a sandy beach with beautiful views of Twin Rocks! It is a 1/4 mile flat walk so it only takes around 5 minutes to get to the sand.
The home has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer so it is the perfect home away from home for your summer retreat!

Driving with Lucy

Drove up from Palm Springs, CA to visit family in Rockaway Beach and Tualitin. The house was the perfect size for me and a few visitors. It was a very quick (though, not a clearly-marked path) walk to the beach where Lucy had her first taste of a beach and water. she really enjoyed it. The house had a heat control in each living and bedroom area. What a a great find. I could heat up sections of the house while Lucy went out to her very private and completely enclosed grassy yard for her morning business. Parking was plentiful. And there was just enough kitchen and laundry supplies so I did not have to shop. The size of the bedrooms and loft area was quite remarkable. The living room was cozy and even had a recliner!! It felt like a cottage from the old days. But with modern conveniences and the windows seemed to be fairly new which kept out the wind and rain. Did not even miss the dishwasher. Washer/Dryer were huge and very modern. Minor quibbles: States Cable/Satellite and there is an exhaustive cable listing provided but got only local and very basic channels; suggestions where to go for quick bite after driving all day and night time approaching. All in all, a great experience for everyone.

Outstanding Getaway in Rockaway

What a wonderful place for a getaway for the whole family!
We had a wonderful stay in Rockaway. The house was very clean and updated. We were surprised that the house was so well stocked and organized. It was a very nice touch that the house had a good selection games and puzzles; we even found kites in the cabinets. We appreciated that there was a garage and a washer and dryer. If I were to have a suggestion for this property, it would be to have high speed internet. I know this would probably add to the price of the stay, but due the location of the property, data access with your cell phone is pretty limited. So, I would pay a little more for this service. Finally, it was really nice how close you are to the beach. It is hard to tell from the pictures on the website, but you are really just a stone's throw away from the beach.

What an amazing stay

This was a great place and would totally stay here again. Our dogs had a great time in the yard and the walks on the beach. Yes I would recommend this place to everyone.
