What a beautiful house! Between the house and the gorgeous view it was extremely hard to leave when the time came. One of our best vacations ever. We will definitely be back.

House was everything as advertised. Great design and comfortable. Top of the line appliances and electronics. Excellent views and easy access to the beach. We will be back.

Beautiful property with high end features like granite countertops & very spacious bathrooms! WONDERFUL deck. Great views since there's not a house built in front of it yet. Great location on a main entry to the beach. Beach was never crowded & scraped/cleaned on Wednesday. Not much vehicle traffic....they like the golf carts here (available for rent but this property doesn't need it) & that was much less invasive/distracting than the cars/trucks we're used to seeing We come to the coast frequently & this is, by far, the best property we've stayed at!

Downsides are the ferry takes FOREVER to cross these days (yuck!). So if you want a real 'get away', this place is for you since you won't really be traveling back & forth to galveston for shopping/eating. There's only one resturaunt on this side of the ferry...Stingaree's...it's practically across the street from this location & is VERY good food!!!! Also, if you're bringing kids you need to bring your own sand toys. This location is really designed for adult getaways.... It can certainly accommodate kids....you just need to bring your own play things!

We brought 2 families with age ranges from 9-50. The breezeway dividing the living areas was PERFECT for this scenario!!!! All said, I'd rate this property a 9.5 out of 10. (would like to have been prepared for no sand toys since all the other places we've stayed at had accumulated lots of them...& there was NO WAY we were crossing the ferry again for that kind of stuff!).

Would HIGHLY recommend this location for anybody. Furnished well & decorated nicely. You could LIVE on the deck!!! This place makes you want to own your own place on the beach.....we'll be back....

BEST LOCATION TO HAVE MY 40TH BIRTHDAY PARTY! THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL 7 GUEST. THIS HOME HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED. WE COOKED IN A SPACIOUS KITCHEN WITH ALL THE AMENITIES, WATCH MOVIES ON YOUR BLU RAY & LARGE FLAT SCREEN. THE BEDS ARE HIGH QUALITY AND THE VIEW...WOW! BATHROOMS ARE SPACIOUS AND UPSCALE. THANK YOU FOR OFFERING YOUR HOME AS A GETAWAY FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY. YOU DID NOT SKIMP ON ANYTHING, I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN WITH MY FAMILY! THE OWNERS ARE SO EASY TO WORK WITH AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS I HAD. STINGAREE RESTUARANT & THE GROCERY STORE (THE BIG STORE) IS CLOSE.

This house is perfect for a getaway. It's very comfortable, clean and spacious inside; and outside you couldn't ask for a better setting. Sitting approximately 50 yards from the beach, it's close enough that you can wander back and forth all day, but far enough away so that you aren't entrenched by the day visitors. This was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last. Enjoy!

This is the ultimate beach house! It was very clean and has very nice amenities. The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to all the stores. We had three families on this trip, so the split bedrooms worked perfect. One couple has a newborn, so we gave them the master suite. They did not show pics of the master bath, but let me tell you the shower is gigantic! Everyone had such a great time and we can't wait to go back! We will rent this house again and again!

Our family rented this beach house to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays and our anniversary. There was plenty of room for all of us (6 adults and 2 children). The online pictures do not lie. The house and property were clean and well-maintained. The house is beautiful and provided many things that are not really necessary for a great time at the beach! It is furnished beautifully. The beds were comfortable. The appliances are top-notch. Satellite televisions and radios. The deck is outstanding with both covered areas and open areas for sunbathing. It is a short walk to the beach and has a great view from the deck. The owner even provides a canopy to take down to the beach which was quite useful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave! We highly recommend the house and found the owner to be extremely easy to work with. He even called to see if we had any questions and encouraged us to call if we needed anything.

Beautiful house right on the beach. This house was very well maintained and so well stocked. The wrap around balcony has an abundance of furniture with covered areas and a sun deck. It's even more beautiful than the pictures. Just a few steps from the beach. This house has everything you need to feel right at home--did not feel like a rental at all. Great communication with the owners. I cannot wait to get back!
